Works fine
The bluetooth died on my stereo so I couldn't send music to it via alexa or my phone. This had an easy setup and works fine. Connects with alexa almost instantly. I plugged it's usb power supply to the stereos alexa outlet switch so they turn on and off at the same time. Works fine.

ports can be in a better place. [UPDATED]
Good sound quality. Connects quickly to my S10+ even the next day when I get back in my vehicle. My vehicle has constant power to the outlets so the receiver stays on.I have not yet mounted the receiver as I need to find a good spot for it.I do not like how the power and headphone jack are at the top of the receiver next to the microphone. I'd prefer for these wires to come out the bottom as this will help keep it clean looking. I can mount it upside down but then the microphone is pointing down.I will likely not use the cables that came with it going forward. Going to try and find shorting ones, perhaps with a 90 degree connector on one side for the vehicle ports.I have not tried the microphone yet, so I cannot comment on quality of that. I primarily use it for playing music. I will update once I have a chance to use it several times.----------UPDATE FEBRUARY 21, 2020----------After using this for roughly 1 year, I have to say overall I am not too satisfied with it. I still have the same complaints from my original review.I have used it overall for every function from phone calls to music and video audio etc in my vehicle. Audio quality is ok. Most people may not have any issues with it.However what is the biggest negative from this device is the usability with a constant power source (my vehicle has always on 12 outlets, there is no way to have switch power unless I tap into my ignition switch). As a result I have tried to disconnect (Not unpair) the device from my phone so I can easily just connect to it with a push of a button when I get back in the vehicle. I have found if you do not unpair the device and only disconnect through your phone, this receive will constantly and always seek out and auto reconnect to the pair device. I could disconnect it, go inside my house but after some time it forces itself to reconnect resulting in unexpected dropping of audio because now you phone is broadcasting to the receiver and not the speaker on the phone. This is particularly annoying when you are talking on the phone and you have to stop and spend several seconds to turn off bluetooth just so you can continue your convo. As a result I will be looking for an alternative receive that is more user friendly and even if I have to disconnect, it won't force itself on its own to reconnect to paired devices. At this time I cannot recommend this device.

This is what I needed. (Almost)
The product works great. Connectivity was no issue at all and it also comes with a stick on velcroe for easily mounting. I got this for my old Nissan rogue which has AUX, USB but no Bluetooth. It's really a pain to have to AUX cause phones started to remove the headphone jack. So it's annoying to have to use a adapter all the time. Especially when your friends use different ports (Type-C/Thunderbolt). The device turns on when it receives power from the USB, so it automatically turns on when I start the car. The only downside of this adapter is that it dosen't have a pairing mode. Thus it'll allow anyone to connect at anytime. (Imagine if you have kids in the car and someone connects to it and starts playing p*rn.)

Great product!
So I have a 2007 g35x which doesn't have satellite radio, and only has RCA hookups. Being an Anker fan, I decided to go with this product. It hooked up via my RCA connections and then I can connect via bluetooth to the ROAV. It connects as soon as I start the car. The audio is amazing and crisp and clear. My car does have bluetooth for phone calls only, so I use my car for that instead of the ROAV. But otherwise, this is great!! I did have one problem with the device cutting out, but I emailed Anker/ROAV and after a few trouble shooting steps, they decided to send out a replacement. They did it fast, and they even followed up about 1.5 weeks later to ensure everything was going great. It's the same things that make you happy.Buy this product now!!

Recommended over the stick devices
I love this AUX adapter so much better than others I’ve tried. In the past year, I’ve had two separate adapters break because they stuck straight up and were snapped off when bumped. I sought out a flat device to lessen that risk and was pleased to find this one. It works great to broadcast music from my phone to the radio, or as a hands free device when a phone call comes in. I especially appreciate than, when a call comes in, the music is paused until I hang up. Another benefit is that it connects automatically to my phone when I start my car, unlike previous devices that had to be manually connected each time!

It works great!
It’s great. Sounds clean, good connection. Phone mic seems to work good. It connects to my phone every time I start my car. My only complaint would be the wires are to short. But it’ll do the job until I pony up enough money for a new head unit.

Not the best for audio streaming
I like that the cables are not permanently connected so I can get shorter or longer cables depending on placement. I also never had any problem with my phone automatically connecting. However, something weird in the Bluetooth protocols reduced the volume between the phone and the adapter. I was able to overcome this by going into the developer options of my phone, changing the Bluetooth AVRCP versions and disabling absolute volume. This is pretty kludgy for an adapter that most people buy because of the simplicity. This also disabled the volume control on my headphones I use while I'm commuting on the train.I've upped my review by one star to three stars. My car's stereo was also not playing well with this at first. I'm still debating getting a different brand to try to see if my expectations are just too high, or if there is one out there that will work better.

Great for playing music and directions in rental car. Not good for phone calls.
Simple device that's company and great for playing music and routing directions! I bring it with me for use in rental cars and it works great. But I really wanted to use it for phone calls, and there was still a lot of background noise being picked up by the microphone. It might depend on there you can place it, but the console didn't work for me. So I may eventually switch this out with something that has noise cancellation on the microphone, if that exists.
