Purchased this for my three year-old granddaughter. She used the beads and made necklaces for hours. She loved all the different bead shapes and colors. Beads are very well-made and perfect for a three year-old toddler. Would definitely recommend this to other parents and grandparents.

We enjoy Melissa and doug toys! They are always great basics to have, and always fun. I like this set, BUT I wish it had some sort of storage lid. It comes in a nice wooden tray, like most Melissa and doug toys, but with all the beads it would be nice if they included a lid.

I keep trying to find toys that will occupy my kids while I cook dinner. If they had a choice they would watch tv non-stop but we have been trying to curb that habit.I absolutely love this bead play set for them. The strings have a hard plastic end which makes threading the beads easy for tiny hands. They love mix and matching to create bracelets, necklaces or key-chains. The best part is they don't like what they made they can disassemble their creation put the bead back into the plastic cubbies.This is brought hours of fun for my kiddos. The only set back is I wish it came with more string, but this is only because they have played with it so much some of the string has been cut and destroyed.

We loved that the beads are made of wood and are so beautifully painted. My grand daughter wemt totally crazy making necklaces and bracelets. Great gift that lends itself to creativity.
