Sedu Revolution Clipless Curling Iron, 19mm

My hair is very thick, straight/wavy, and really hard to work with. I have a hard time working with normal curling irons because the curls would just loosen up within 2-3 hours. Most hair sprays/curling agents also does not work on my hair, my hair loosens up within 2-3 hours as well.What worked for me was a flattening iron I bought for $100 at the mall. I tried it out at the mall, and made sure the curls (yes, you can curl hair with a straightening iron) does not loosen up before I bought it (I can make it stay without hair spray).However, I was quite disappointed with this product since it is similar in pricing to my flattening iron. In fact it was a little more expensive than the flattening iron I bought at the mall and it was definitely not as good. The curls do not come out very natural, compared to the curls from a flattening iron. Also, I wrapped my hair around the curling iron for quite a bit of time (5-10 seconds) and the curls sometimes do not even come out, and if it does come out it was not natural at all. Plus, it loosened up within 2-3 hours as well.I'm not advocating you to NOT buy this product, but to beware especially if you have really thick, tough to curl hair. You might want to go try some different brands at the mall and make sure they're for you rather than purchase this product blindly online just because many people say it works well. Believe it or not, the curling irons they advertise at the mall work probably just as well as this one, if not better, for cheaper!

I like it, but I expected to like it more. I have the Sedu flat iron that I am obsessed with so I thought this would be the same great quality...it's not.I am glad I went with the 19cm because it does both tight and loose curls depending on the amount of hair you section out. Sometimes my hair sticks to it when I'm curling it, and I've used a wand for a long time so it's not a technique issue. I also own the Remington 'Pearl' curling wand that I LOVE. I'd say, the Remington wand one gives more defined and long lasting curls, and the Sedu one leaves my hair softer and feels less damaging. If the Sedu one curled like the Remington one, it would be perfect!

The Sedu Clipless Curling Iron is amazing. I have long, fine, straight hair that never holds curl. Not only was the Sedu easy to use, my curl held all day. The next day I was able to wear my hair down and it still had soft waves...wow. With such fine hair traditional curling irons and flat irons fried my ends, but I have no damage, even after multiple uses, to my ends after using the Sedu. I give this item 5 stars and more if I could.

Finally, a clipless curling iron with variable heat settings. I tried the Sultra Bombshell and loved it but it was WAY too hot for my fine hair and there was no way to adjust the temperature. Then I tried a Amika with different sized barrels you could alternate and I just felt like it might break after a while with all that alternating. This Sedu is the best. There are only 4 heat setting options, but it works for me.

initially it was difficult to get the curling technique down,I am very used to traditional curling irons. This iron does a great job on getting some nice waves/curl to medium length hair. my girlfriend has this iron and loves it!

Works like a charm I just wish it had interchangeable pieces for days when I want my hair more curly or beachy.

It's slightly hard to use, hoping with more practice to have better out come.I believe Sedu is a great product

Absolutely wonderful purchase. I love it. Only tip I would have is to let people know it DOES come w/ a heat glove so they do not have to purchase one. They did when they purchased the iron. Thanks.

A christmas gift for my daughter. She loves it. She had to get used to using her fingers as there is no clip at the end, and she did burn her fingers a couple of times, but that's her fault cause there were gloves included that she was supposed to use!
