Exact replacement for my camper. Easy to replace- took 5 minutes. But be sure the tank is EMPTY. I had trouble with my old valve but got it drained completely. Use a bucket underneath if you are not at a dump station. 4 bolts and swap it out. I spread a thick layer of petroleum jelly on the rubber seals and slipped it in where the old one was. Some people report difficulty getting the seals to stay put- use the petroleum jelly. Worked perfectly.

Perfect replacement and an improvement over the old system that had a plastic handle, which is the part that actually broke. Easy to replace, no leaks. Works as expected. I purchased a smaller one to proactively replace our gray tank after this. The handle operation is much smoother and easier that what was orignally on our rv.

Thought since our rig came with Camco valves installed from the factory now leaks after 2 years on the road. I would try the Valterra valve made in MEXICANA. Installation was very easy and the valve worked smoothly. Two months operating is still perfect. I will say the Valterra feels firm, No leaks. Very pleased for a few dollars more of.Enjoy G-Pop A.

I love that the RV industry standardized waste valves. .....I think. This fit great on my 1988 Falcon 190 for both waste water outlets. Simple to install and hopefully reliable. I love the pot metal handles (or whatever they are).The only thing I hate so far is the ABS guillotine, which is formed into a very sharp blade for sliding closed between the rubbers. It should not be sharp enough to cut a fool. It is ABS, or crying out loud. That thin, sharp edge was folded in a few places on both units. Would it kill their bottom line to make a plastic guillotine with a slightly rounded blade edge?

Direct replacement for my rv wastewater system. Just remove the existing bolts and nuts from the old one, pull the old valve out, and reinstall the new valve.Make sure you empty your tanks first!!

We replaced our leaky black tank gate valve. The install was very quick and easy, and the new gate is very smooth opening and closing.The metal pull handle is also much better than the plastic one we previously had.It would have been nice if they had a black handle option (gray tank = gray handle, black tank = black handle) but we just painted it which was more than adequate for our preferences.
