Stout and works well
Installs very easy! Ensure you research the right cements for pool systems.I installed this and a leak formed (my fault) and had to drill the connector out of this, and it still sealed easily. My pool piping is 1.5", so I had to adapt to 2" - maybe that's how it's designed.Seems like it would be easy to replace the anode. Feels sturdy.

Not inexpensive, but the sacrificial anode can save much more.
Good quality, easy install.

So far so good
Well packaged and seems to be new. Delivery was 1 week but I knew that upfront. I can’t opine on how it works or if it leaks until it is installed and the pool is opened. If there are any issues I will update this review.

Video Review of Excellent Product to help Save Money + safety
The media could not be loaded. Every pool should be bonded for safety (bonding is not grounding). A bonding of the pool is done by connecting all metal parts with a 8 gauge wire, to allow an equalizing of electrical potential. The use of this product many help you pass a pool inspection of the bonding of the actual pool water, and it’s recommended by the manufacture “Pool Tool” to install after the filter. I’ve created a video to help us DIY crowd. I did 100% of all my plumbing and electrical work, but I recommend hiring a professional if you don’t feel comfortable with this type of installation. The product is essentially a “T” with 2” slip connections on both sides, and the anode is screw in. I used pool lube on the 3 “O-Rings” and bleeder valve. You wan to first turn off the power, close your filter and drain the pipe if possible. Then install just the schedule 40 PVC “T” with primer and blue cement (I used Oatey Rain & Shine). Let in dry for an hour at least before any pressure. Next screw on the actual anode, then open your plumbing again, turn on your power, then run your filter. Inspect for any leaks, I had none. Then connect the screw on the anode to the supplied bonding wire, you’re done. Congratulations, you just finished bonding your pool for 5 years.Replace anode when 50% of the material is gone. Also, make sure to drain or remove the anode for winterization.

Works well and easy to install
Easy to install, make sure to orient the unit either upside down or at least at an angle pointing down to prevent air bubbles being trapped. Came with a long enough bonding wire and hardware to reach my expensive gas heater which it is now protecting. Added this unit when I converted my pool to a salt cell. Installed a foot after heater exit and a foot before my newly added check valve. Salt cell is 2 feet after the check valve to further prevent chlorine from siphoning back toward heater element.

Neat and clean design, clear instructions and no "planned obsolescence"
Very neat and tidy design, easily fitted into my existing 2" return that goes into my pool heater before routing to the salt generator. I liked how it wasn't one of those where you put a saddle on an existing pipe and punctured a hole and pray it never leaks. The anode ingot is massive in this unit and I liked how it is replaceable after 3-5 years. Screw lid was great. Just applied some Hayward lube and also lubed the air bleed. They provide you a super long piece of #8 copper bonding wire and that saved me a big box trip as my bonding wire needed to run along a wall first and that extra length was great. I also recommend, as they do, to definitely install it with the anode downwards or horizontal vs. vertical. Great product and definitely will buy my 20 year old pool some time before I have to break down and get pool replastered and hardware replaced.
