It would be all too easy to criticize this little device and - to be sure - there are plenty of things wrong with it...But the overriding plus points are: it's cheap to buy and it does work!The casing is very light injection-moulded plastic. The slots in this enclosure for the memory card and the USB connector don't really align correctly, and care is needed when using both. The memory card can easily drop down inside the casing, which then involves taking the whole thing apart to get the card back out.The whole process for copying audio files to the internal NVRAM is ridiculously complicated, and only works about 50% of the time.The enclosure is neither water nor dust proof. This is very much an indoors device. BUT...Once you finally get it set up and installed, it is actually quite good. The PIR sensor has adequate range and a wide pickup angle. And although the internal speaker is tiny, it can produce decent sound quality and sufficient volume.There are other devices which do the same job and do not have any of these problems - but they cost ten times as much. So I CAN recommend it at this price point.

It does what it says on the box. However it is small and using the micro SD card is a little awkward to take out to load the sound files. It's range is limited and in my opinion matches it's sound range. A little pricey too for what it is, a novelty sound item.All that being said, it has worked for what I needed it to do.But the price is a little high in the long run

On opening the package the item appeared to be of low quality, I paid a premium for this item as I needed it quickly I could have waited to get one from china for a third of the price but I needed it urgently. It was complicated to get the message on a SIM card more down to my computer than the device, one installed it worked perfectly for around two weeks, great buy I thought! then it malfunctioned. When turned on it plays the message continuously even when no one is in the room. Tried to contact seller but I was diverted to contact amazon via chat, I'm still waiting for a response. I need a replacement or a refund but how to I get one if I can't contact anyone?

I was going to give this a good review, easy to operate, easy to install, sound quality decent and motion sensor works fine. I was only going to criticise the volume difference between low and high which I think is too dramatic, low definitely could do with being louder or there should at least be 3 volume choices so that you can make a choice somewhere between whisper and deafening.However, my star rating has dropped to 2 because of the poorly designed sd card slot. I took the card out to check the size as already installed and when I put it back the card actually shot inside the device and needed to be retrieved by unscrewing everything.Basically the slot for the SD card has a gap right next to it which is not blocked off and it's not easy to see which hole is the card slot and which is the gap.So this 8s why my star rating dropped from 4 to 2.

Whilst you could most definitely use this commercially (shop entrance etc), I suspect most uses will be as a novelty, fun item. To that extent, it is a bit of fun!I shall be using it as a joke item when we have friends stay, planting it in one of the guest bathrooms – tee hee! However, there are loads of uses in the home of a more sensible nature too!This certainly works very well, with an excellent sensitive PIR, and surprisingly loud volume. It takes a bit of getting your head round to get the setting you want (if you have multiple audio files on the memory card – it comes with some random files pre-installed)To be honest, it doesn’t feel the best quality made item, but it’s fine. What wasn’t so good was having removed the (pre-installed 128 Mb) micro SD card, which was tricky due to it being a little mis-aligned, when replacing, it just dropped inside the case. I had to dismantle to retrieve before manipulating it into its correct opening. This is, as noted, due to it being mis-aligned (the card slot). So, whilst this might be a one off, and others are fine, just be careful!The gadget takes 3 x AAA batteries (not supplied), which were easy to install.All in all, a great fun gadget, not the best construction quality, but does work very well. It is a bit pricey for what it is, but if a deal of the day type of price, worth a go. Good giggle guaranteed!I hope that you have found this review to be helpful.

The infrared motion sound sensor speaker is made well and works fine, comes with SD card. It's very easy to install. With 360° degree rotatable bracket, you can adjust the angle up and down. For my opinion the price is too high
