Step One Complete! They Fit Perfectly!
They Fit my 17.5 inch calves and they are comfortable and easy to put on. I ordered the L / XL : Large / X-Large. I was reluctant after getting a different brand that said they fit 17+ inch calves and didn't but after reading the reviews on this and others saying they were 5'8 tall and 17+ inch calves I figured I'd try and I am so glad I did. I am almost 5'9 tall and they fit.I like the style and the basic black. They are ribbed compression sleeves. They may look small when you pull them out of the package and you may be thinking "There is no way they are going to fit my calves" ... I know I was thinking the exact same thing but I tried them on and bang ... they fit. So don't trash talk them until you try them on.I've noticed while wearing them they seem to keep my calves warm yet cool and they feel light weight but have a bit of a sweater feel. They fit perfectly from my ankle to knee even though they seem deceivingly small when you pull them out of the package. Overall extremely comfortable. It seems to have a perfect amount of compression - I think any tighter would be too tight. Also, it fits perfect around my ankles and just below my knee. They are not too tight in those areas which my previous pair from a different maker was way too tight around the ankle ... these are perfect.I also injured my knee (ACL, LCL, Meniscus and got a dvt/blood clot) and had surgery last year ever since the accident & surgery my knee keeps swelling up but I've noticed since I've worn these leg sleeves my knee is not swelling as badly - very minimal if any. Awesome!I am using these to replace an old pair for a previous blood clot / DVT and to help with circulation from other illnesses.Highly Recommended especially if you have large calves which make it extremely hard to find a good pair that actually fits. Just do it ... buy it. Also currently these are the cheapest price on Amazon for a pair of Zensah sleeves. I paid $25.86 which is $15 off currently.

These work!!!
I severly injured the shin muscles in my left leg in 2005 by being a stupid runner. Overuse with no rest days, not properly stretching, not replacing my shoes as I should...Physical therapy healed me as best as it could, but my shin would still bother me. I gave up running for good in 2008 and switched to "traditional machine" cardio (elliptical, rower, etc.) until last year, when I became tired of icing my leg every day and being in pain. Now I swim and usually don't have shin pain from my workouts. However, if I am on my feet for too long (I stand for a good portion of the day at my job) or go up and down hills or stairs (I lived on the third floor of my apartment building for the last two years; I moved to a ground floor unit two months ago) my shin let me know its displeasure.I actually had been in slight pain daily ever since the move (I packed most of my things myself and carried many items up and down the steps) and decided to try these sleeves. Even though it's usually only my left leg that bothers me, I figured wearing one on my right leg won't hurt anything.I've had them a week and WOW what a difference!! No more pain! I put them on after my swimming workout and wear them while I stretch, and then for the next half-hour as I drive home, put away my gym items, and drink my protein shake breakfast. I then put them back on again once I get to work.I've noticed, first and foremost, my leg doesn't hurt anymore! These have helped more than Advil and ice therapy. I haven't even needed Advil or my ice canister since I've been wearing these. On top of that, my legs feel fresher, and I seem to have more energy and more spring to my step. I bought a second pair so I can keep one in my gym bag and one in my work tote. They are very comfortable to wear, not hot or itchy at all. I barely even notice they are on. If anything, it feels like my legs are being gently massaged.I am 5 feet 5 inches tall and wear a size 6 pant, but I have muscular legs. According to the size chart, I was on the border between the x-small/small and the small/medium. I ordered both, and the small/medium size fit, whereas the x-small/small would barely go over my foot and ankle. If you have muscular legs or are on the border between sizes, I would encourage you to go up a size.If you have any type of shin pain, I highly recommend these! I wish I had discovered them in 2005. They could have saved me years of pain!

Genuinely Useful
Definitely have helped ease the pain and discomfort of my shin splints while they heal. I wear these to work and walking around is much more comfortable now.

Great fit and compression! But the Blue is not true blue...more like sky/turquoise blue
I actually have these in TWO different sizes -- for different reasons. I am short and petite, with skinny but somewhat muscular calves, and the X/S fits perfectly if I need strong compression I use those if I have painful shin splits, a stress fracture, or other injury. I use the size L/XL when I need more of just a massaging effect, like after a long run or race, and I don't want too much compression. I'd say I wear the L/XL size the most often. I have so many brands of compression sleeves, and some are too tight on me (Zensah Pro), and some don't have enough compression for me (proCompression). Even though I prefer the cep brand for marathons, out of all of them, Zensah provides me with the best levels of comfort, compression and results for recovery. The only thing I did not like about these is at the ankle where they are tighter, there is a small piece of fabric that rolls up and can become uncomfortable. So I just pull them over a higher sock, problem solved (although this forces me to wear higher socks when I have these on). One thing to be aware of, if you are looking for the color blue that is in the photo -- it is not the exact same shade shown. I ordered a pair in blue and was hoping for more of a royal/true blue to match my Boston Marathon apparel , but they are more of a sky/turquoise blue (different than the photos).
