This is a pretty mild clarifying shampoo that can be used weekly on relaxed hair. I use this first, then always follow up with a hydrating shampoo.

I have 4c Low porosity hair which gets product build up very quickly and easily. This is my go-to when I need a clean scalp. It doesn't strip my hair either, which is a plus since moisture-retention is a biggie for me. Now a staple for use every few months...

I love the KeraCare line. It works great! the price for the 32oz is the same as the 16oz in the supply stores. I will defiantly order more.

Washing hair first round. It strips the gunk from the hair before 2nd wash. Is mild.

The clarifying shampoo I loved got discontinued so I switched to this. It’s called 1st Lather but it doesn’t lather! I’ve tried it with a tonne of water. I’ve tried emulsifying it in my hands before applying. I tried detangling before applying. I’ve done everything I can think of for months and nothing helps. I don’t know if I got a bad batch or if it doesn’t work well with type 4 hair, but I’m so disappointed. Truly a waste of money, because even if it did clean my scalp (which I don’t think it does well) I couldn’t get it down my hair shaft anyway.
