Pine Mountain 4152501471 Java-Log Firelog, 4-Hour Burn Time, Recycled Coffee Grounds, 4 Logs

Does not smell bad when sitting around unlike Duraflame. Safe as made from coffee grounds so no toxic fumes. Burns well and lasts a long time. Highly recommend. I have been using these for years.

My first order of the 4 hour log that smells like coffee, not pine trees, was the best we have ever used in our small fire pit. They burned well, did not put off black smoke, burned completely. I think however if they have an expiration date, that is critical to know. A second order that was shipped to us wrong (2 hour vs 4 and smelled like pine, yuk) put off black smoke and did not burn like you expect in a fire pit or a fireplace. If we had used them in the house, it would not have been good!

These really impressed me, & I'll definitely continue to purchase them during the winter time / beginning of spring. I ended up purchasing this on a whim because Duraflame was crazy expensive, & not only did these burn way past the advertised 4 hours, they burn slow & give off a nice amount of heat. It's not like the other brands that light up in less than 5 mins, the flames work their way from each end towards the center, which is probably why they last so long (no smell or anything either). I've tried the other logs made by this brand as well, & I'm extremely impressed with them in general (burn slow & much longer, good value, etc) - I definitely found my new go-to brand.

Product burns well. Doesn't really have a coffee smell though. Would purchase again.

Coffee bonfires? Yes please! Bugs do not seem to like it, which is a bonus.

The logs break apart when burning in the fireplace and you must scoot the pieces back under the log. Must keep a watch indoors. Great for the outdoor fire pit. Burn a long time. 4 hours.

This (see photo) was after one hour of "burning." Left side of the log was totally wrapped and cool to the touch. I tried lighting the wrapper directly with a lighter. Nothing. Apparently non-flammable. I tried putting a couple of short rolled newspapers under the left side (since I could easily lift the log up with my bare hands), lit them. They burned, went out, wrapper was still 100% intact. Put crumpled newspapers underneath the grate. They burned, went out, wrapper intact. I did that 3 times and then gave up. The wrapper is simply inflammable. I would have had a better fire if I had put two candles in the fireplace. Total waste of money and will throw out the remaining 3 in the pack. DO NOT BUY.

Box smells amazing, wonderful prior to igniting the logs. Once on fire, it’s just another 3-ish hour burning log. No hint of coffee smell. Wife and I were disappointed.
