This is great. Very helpful guide for getting into contract drafting
This is great. Very helpful guide for getting into contract drafting. Law schools really ought to have more of this type of experiential learning in the 1L contracts class. It'd make things more concrete and actually help develop practical skills. I felt like my 1L contracts class was so incredibly dull and so pedantic that it made what is actually a really interesting topic to me a very boring class to have to take. Teaching with a casebook and then using this as well would've changed everything.

Great Contract Drafting Textbook
I am still attending my contracts drafting class and utilizing this book, and have found that for the most part, I like the fun, yet clear and concise explanations the author uses in this book. The author makes it as fun and interesting a subject as she is able to, considering.

DONT BUY THE KINDLE VERSION
the kindle version is significantly cheaper than print or other ebooks like google so I bought it. I figured it was worth the weird pages and formatting. BUT LOTS OF INFORMATION IS JUST MISSING. This book has A LOT of bullet points in its formatting. Kindle apparently doesn't support bullets so there are just blank bullet points with no information on them. At first, I thought that wasn't a big deal because it probably wasn't important enough and it was still worth it to get a cheaper version but then I checked the google books sample to be sure. The bullet points are actually important and have good information on them. So basically I still have to buy the print version or another ebook format. The kindle version is a waste of money. What good is a cheaper version if lots of important information is left out? Never buying kindle books again.

print quality not good but decent organization otherwise.
I would recommend getting the digital version of this instead of the actual book. In print, the ink is light (grey instead of black) in color and the text is small, plus the paper is thin so the ink from the other side light shows faintly through, which makes for a strain on the eyes due to those factors. I would imagine that the online version can be enlarged and also would not have the factor of printing from the other side showing through. While it is nice to have to actual book for notetaking purposes, I wish I had purchased a digital copy instead. As for the subject matter, it is nicely outlined and practical, the exercises are a little dry but are useful.
