I have been using sugar wax and strips for probably more than two decades and be honest I’m just kind of tired of the sticky mess. I wanted to try hard wax. The first thing that caught me was the cost, for something I just wanted to try out I don’t wanna spend a lot of money.I’ve only used it once so far but I can definitely say I will continue to use it. This has been great right out of the box. I set it up took seconds and to heat up to 245 with a lid on It melted in under 10 minutes it took another 10 minutes to cool down before I could apply to my skin. Being someone that is familiar with waxing issues first try was perfect. Actually, I believe it was better than the sugar strips and far quicker.If you could look past the reviews with a relevant remarks such as damage, my product had no damage, but anyone with any kind of common sense will know that it damage product isn’t from the product itself is from the seller which for this product is Amazon, which means it was damaged in an Amazon warehouse ordering shipping, and God love, Amazon. They make it easy for you to exchange in return so I don’t see a problem there the other issues that people complained about the wax not sticking or it not melting or it being stringy honestly that’s user error. It has nothing to do with the product, so if you’re on the fence about this, I would definitely suggest getting it.it works great, The price is great and honestly even if this product only last me six months and stops heating up or some other stupid thing happens I only spent $25 that is Way less than I would’ve spent on my sugar, wax and strips and definitely way more Cost-effective than going to a salon

Im gonna start with my only complaints, because theyre about safety. The cord is VERY short- like 2ft- and the warmer is very very lightweight. be careful with placement. The weight of the stretched cord can pull it off the counter. This wax is thick sticly stuff, hold the warmer with one hand while you stir- or again you will knock it right off the counter. Why this doesnt have a 6ft cord or suction cup feet is beyond me.Other than some dangerous cheap outs on cord length and stability, (who wants to sit on the floor in front of an outlet to wax? Its already uncomfortable!) its otherwise great.It takes a while with the silicone sleve to melt wax, much longer than without it but the clean up is so much easier its worth it. Turn it up as high as it goes until its nearly all melted ( about 20-25 min) then turn it down. Theres a very fine line between burning your skin and too cool to spread, err on the side of caution. The wax has a pretty broad cooling time where its hard enough removal is effective and not too hard that the wax snaps. from ~7-30 seconds. I usually do alternating strips.. ie, apply 1 strip, leave a gap the same width as the strip, apply the second.. by the time the second is applied, the first is ready to remove.Remember, as long as you are waxing only yourself and youre clean. the wax is reusable. I wipe the area with disinfecting wipes, apply thick to get all the hair and when you remove, put it back in the warmer to remelt.otherwise the whole thingIts very gentle on skin- and the pain is least of all dipilatory methods and its the easiest to clean up- no sticky mess! ..but youre still yanking hair by the root...Tip for newbies working inAhhemm.. sensitive areas with course hair... your first strip should be TINY... like 1/4" wide by 2" long or less..The first time is the worst- dont get all braveheart - "Ill do it in one pass"... start small, because once its on, you gotta do it.

I wax just about my whole body, I love this pot and wax! This is my first experience waxing myself. After I used all the wax it came with, I bought some wax as a refill from Sally's, it was much thinner and had a strong smell. So I bought some more wax from this company, it works so good and is half the cost. 160° is perfect thickness and warmth with this wax.
