Handy Pocket Guide to Tropical Plants

A guide that is too basic
Probably a useful enough pocket guide for those that know absolutely nothing, however possibly not even then. This publication is really basic and is hardly worth the effort.

Useful pocket guide with photos and drawings
Using much of the same material and the same format at their Tropical Plants of Southeast Asia, Elisabeth Chan and Luca Invernizzi Tettoni present about 60 of the most common tropical plants. They are grouped into commonly seen plants, economically important plants, especially beautiful plants, and oddities. For each, there are one or two photos or drawings, the botanical family, occurence, description, and notes of interest. A good start to a collection of references, this is recommended as a traveler's first guide. For more information on these and other tropical plants, see Ornamental Plants & Flowers of Tropical Mexico .

Beware this is a small book
Don't be fooled this is a good book but it is VERY small although the information is good. Oh dear! More and more words required

Useful size book but a full picture of each plant ...
Useful size book but a full picture of each plant or tree, and then of their flower, leaf and seed would help identification better. One distant shot of a large tree without leaf, flower and seed pictures is inadequate.

Muy buen libro
Un libro interesante sobre las principales variedades tropicales, con imagenes muy buenas podría incluso ser un libro de sala o mesa de cafe.
