Great Starter Kit
Really great Kit. Was happy to get it growing when it arrived. However, the juniper seeds were missing, but after contacting the seller and speaking with Darren, they sent some replacements. Can already see the sweet gum and pine growing. Can not fault the service. Great product and easy to follow instructions.

Great gift
I bought the Pronto Seed Growing Set (Herbs) as a gift for my sister in India, and it turned out to be a thoughtful, unique surprise. It arrived in good condition and fairly quickly, considering it was an international delivery. The packaging was neat and gift-worthy, and my sister loved the concept right away—especially since she enjoys cooking and had been wanting to grow her own herbs. The kit includes everything needed to get started: seed packets, biodegradable pots, soil pellets, and clear instructions, which made it beginner-friendly.She planted basil, parsley, rosemary, and chives, and so far, most of the seeds have sprouted well (basil and rosemary were the fastest). The quality of the seeds seems reliable, and watching them grow has been genuinely satisfying for her. It’s also a nice way to bring a bit of green into a small kitchen or balcony.Overall, it’s a charming, meaningful gift—especially for anyone who loves cooking, gardening, or just needs a little greenery in their space. Would definitely recommend, especially for gifting across borders!

Nice Gift but Needs Patience
I was worried the seeds might not sprout at all, but with some extra warmth and light, a few did start growing after a couple of weeks. The kit looks great and has everything you need, though the packaging could be stronger. Compared to other grow kits I’ve tried, this one feels more thoughtful and beginner-friendly, but the results take time and not all seeds may germinate. If you’re patient and enjoy slow projects, I’d say it’s worth trying.

Waste of money
Followed the instructions & the seeds didn't grow. Didn't come with all of the seed varieties. Annoying that for some of the seeds you have to put them in your fridge for three months to 'winter' - especially as they still didn't grow. Nice idea - but a waste of money & effort.

Hit and miss
So I managed to pop most of the plants, but then lost a couple. The issue is that you get a lot of seeds, but most will not sprout and then when some do you end up with multiple trees trying to grow in the one tiny tub. It's a catch 22. Use 1 seed and it likely won't give a plant, but use more and you might end up with a murder suicide of multiple saplings as they crowd the space. The setup is not great either. The little tubs are meant to sit in the cardboard as shown, but as you water and as it gets exposed to sun the card begins to warp and the high side is a pain as it catches the wind and either flips the whole thing or the front edge pops out and hits the saplings. In the end I binned the cardboard and just had the tubs sitting in the plastic tray, but I did need to use tape on the little pots as they were held closed by the card. Annoying to say the least. My advice is to buy a seed tray with drainage, a lid and maybe 24 individual pots. That way you can put 1 seed in each and tag each, it'll cost you a couple of quid, but you'll get much better results.

Brilliant little kit
I left a previous review before using the kit but it was only on setting it up that we realized just how ingenious it is. It is neat, light and easy to post as it will fit through a letter box. It is supplied with more seeds than you need for the kit itself, but not so many that you end up with silly quantities of small plants. Very clear labelling and instructions make it a doddle to set up - once the coir pellets have rehydated it takes minutes owing to the clever design of the cells. Being bottomless they sit in a base tray, which should make watering easier, plus they unfold once the seedlings are large enough to pot up, another clever touch. That it's peat free and recyclable is also a positive.
