Great teapot - one caveat
First one of the features they ask for a rating on is "easy to clean". Let's be honest, there aren't many teapots that I'd call "easy to clean" because by nature they're a) going to stain and b) have little nooks and crannies. Understanding that, I can clean this well enough to be usable and presentable. It's cute, and makes two regular cups, though I will admit to having an oversize mug that holds the full volume of tea this produces. It's excellent because this is the right amount of tea to drink in one sitting before it becomes cold. The basket has a nice handle with a divot in it that allows you to pull it up without having to steady the rest of the basket when it's still hot from steeping. The color is vibrant (I got the orange model) and is perhaps even a bit brighter than in the picture here which is great. My only complaint is the mechanism by which the lid is held in place. There is a small screw that goes through the metal flange/lip that goes over the handle (which is underneath the lever that lifts the lid). This screw is short, and has a piece of silicone between it which acts as a washer. After a while of usage there is a chance that the screw will work itself loose, which is made worse by its shortness. Reassembling this was a bit of a pain, because everything has to go in the right order, and the screw head is small. This is *not* a deal breaker though - this is a great teapot overall and knowing of this flaw in advance means you can check and make sure the screw is snug every so often. I check weekly and use the pot daily.

Sleek Teapot. Fits 540ml no problem!
Great sleek looking teapot. I opted for Tealyra over ForLife because I didn't like the look of the logo on the lid of the other brand and this one had a slightly larger capacity. It arrived quickly and intact. It looks great and the white matte finish is really attractive. I'm happy that it fits 540 ml perfectly (measured using my Pyrex measuring cups) since I planned to use this teapot to brew for two. Based on the volume it will fill up two standard 12oz size mugs nicely with room for sugar, milk and mixing without over flowing.

Hmm 18oz?!? SMALL pot!
I was SHOCKED how small this teapot is, it's more like a tea mug. For reference, that BIG, blue mug is 16oz by volume, the small, Japanese cup to the right of the pot is 4oz. How can this pot be 18oz?!? Bazaar. It reminds me of the doll like Chinese Yixing clay pots. Besides the deceptive look of the pot, it's well made, no problem there. I'm going to wait & see if this 18oz will do for now, til i decide if i want 22-24oz instead. I drink a lot of tea on my days off, this tiny pot may not do. In fact, I'm using my small 4oz cup w/ it, to make it appear the volume is more than it looks.

Perfect for a single or couple
This is as close to perfect as it gets. It’s attractive, sturdy, easy to clean, and the strainer is large and allows good circulation (thus better steeped tea). It doesn’t drip while pouring, and there’s no uncomfortable hot points pressing (or burning) your fingers when you pour. The first time I spooned tea leaves into it, I bumped the attached lid and made a little mess. I just wasn’t used to the lid being attached. I have since adjusted the way the pot faces me when i’m filling it and it feels natural and I haven’t wasted a tea leaf since. I had been using tea bags for years, but really missed the delicious loose leaf Japanese green tea my dad used to make at home. Now I just microwave water in a separate Pyrex measuring cup (I make about 2 cups and it fits in the tea pot just fine) and I have perfect tea for myself or even a guest as well. I have been using this every day for over a month now, there is some discoloration/tarnish on the joints of the strainer, but that’s normal for a tea pot strainer. Highly, highly recommend this product! One of my best Amazon purchases.

Perfect tea
If you want to brew your own tea using tea leaves (it's the only way to make tea) this is the perfect product. I usually want a mug and a half of tea in the morning and the Tealyra is just right. The infuser makes it easy. Put a few tablespoons of quality tea leaves in the infuser (I prefer Harney & Sons), pour in boiling water, let it brew for five minutes, take out the infuser and you have tea the way it's supposed to be. You'll never go back to tea bags, which basically contain ground tea dust, ever again. This is a great product for both home and the office.

The perfect little teapot.
I love my little teapot, easy to handle, makes about one and a half 12 oz. mugs of tea. For more I just add more hot water and steep the loose tea again. Works perfectly. Keeps the brew warm enough for that second or even third cup of tea. Perfect for one person. Very easy to toss out the used tea leaves, rinse the infuser and pot and let dry. I bought the red one for a spot of color in my kitchen.

Pretty Purple Petite Perfection
This oh-so-cute pot is perfect for small amounts of tea. No more worrying about making too much or risking damage to my large glass pot. Since it's more robust than glass and so petite, it can go just about anywhere around the house with me. The pastel purple with the matte finish is very pretty and I love the removable basket. It reminds me of the little pots they used in an English cafe I used to love visiting. Do not hesitate to gift this little cutie to your favorite tea lover, or keep it for yourself!

Lid is not removable
The lid is permanently attached and cannot be removed … makes it a bit awkward, especially for loading in the dishwasher. The design of the spout provided dripless pouring. Infuser is sturdy and bail (handle) makes for ease of use. Overall, quite satisfied …

Non Drip, I really mean non drip
I love this little teapot, after finally getting rid of my drippy one (I read a lot of reviews to try and find one that didn't drip). Even when this pot is full or nearly empty it does not drip, I had to practically tip it upside down to get any drips out of it. This is a well made teapot, the cage inside for loose leaf tea is solid and easy to clean.( I have had very flimsy ones in the past). I wanted this just for tea for one however it is big enough to get too mugs out of, which is great if I want to share/ I love the bright colour (I went for yellow) and it takes up less space than my previous one person teapot. I cant find anything I would change, so even though it is more than I really wanted to pay, I think it was worth every penny, I have been using it every day since I bought it to and as my last tea pot dripped everywhere I stopped using it regularly (it is true, buy cheap, pay twice).

Two small cups/one large mug
Makes a great cup of tea. I was looking for something for loose tea and herbal tea and this fits the bill nicely. It's worth thinking about how much you want per brew as this will hold two cups comfortably (maybe with a top up) or one large mug and a little spare. You won't get two mugs out of this so think about the next size up if that's what you want. Some people seem to review this as "no drips ever", I guess they got lucky! It's not terrible for dripping but there can be a little run down the underside of the spout. It's not an issue for me as I put the pot on a coaster or tray as I imagine anyone who reads this far in to a review about a teapot would also do.

Absolute rubbish
Bought on the 9th September, ready for the bin!. Lid doesn't close properly. It also doesn't stay open so you burn yourself when filling it with hot water, as it randomly drops closed. It developed cracks as shown in the picture within a week and now it is leaking through the cracks. I will be asking for a refund.

Pretty little teapot.
I'd say this teapot isn't a true pink as pictured on amazon but a pretty pink coral mix. I found it made one large breakfast cup of tea or two (vintage style) cups (both of these I had black so if adding milk the tea would obviously go a bit further. Now for the downside. The spout and rim of my pot has small areas with less colour pigment so you can see the beige/cream beneath. Not really noticeable but does annoy fussy me and the lid is slightly lopsided. The screw on one side has been tightened more than the other so lifts the lid a couple of mm's on one side. That said it doesn't leak when pouring and I am being picky but once seen can't unseen.

Small Teapot with infuser
Having purchased other teapots by Tealyra I would mention that the screws where the lid fits on come adrift extremely easily. I have only had mine since beginning of August and by beginning of September lid and screws etc all came apart! Not sure if I would ever purchase another one.
