Secrets of the Samurai: a Survey of the Martial Arts of Feudal Japan Hardcover – January 1, 1980

This is an older book I found years ago during my undergraduate years in the university library and I've always wanted a copy of my own. Such a wealth of cultural and martial knowledge, but above all I love the simple ink artwork. Anyone who appreciates feudal Japanese culture and warfare should get a copy!

This book is a treasure trove of insightful, historically accurate and significant information. And Oscar's illustrations (RIP Oscar) in this and "Aikido and the Dynamic Sphere" are absolutely magnificent.

Good for those young pups who want to be Marines/Rangers

Good book with a lot of historical information. However, it is a very dry read.
