Raked the soil to loosen it, spread the seed with a hand held spreader and covered with a light layer of compost. Watered when needed and waited for growth. Whoa! At best 15% sprouted! What a huge waste of time and effort for next to no results. Update: After my review I was contacted by the company and offered a full refund, which I have received, for the lack of performance. It's nice when a company stands behind their product like this.

Most grass grows in ideal circumstances. Not too hot/cold and kept moist but not soaked for 7-10 days, on aerate or thatched soil that has been weeded and fertilized. Unfortunately for us, a heat wave came through, and the seeds that survived was in the shade. If it had been more ideal I think the seed would have all come up fine. Guess we have to wait for fall and try again, too hot now! Note: This grass is a part shade/sun mix, even though it says only Sunny.

While I have my doubts about rye grass seed growing here there's enough other varieties in the package contents that should make a nice "fairway" for my turkeys to tee off from.

This is by far the best grass seed available and worth every penny. Great germination rate and low in weed seed. I have recommended this grass seed to all of my friends. Love the deep rich green color and drought resistance. Thanks

So far I love this seed. I live in NJ and I have some sandy areas where it’s more sand than soil and this seed grew pretty well. I watered it a lot to get it to germinate within a week .

Great greenview formula grass seed especial for full sunny all day long in my front yard no problem at all. I recommend this product.

Nice grass seed and fast growing

Planted this ,and not one blade of grass came up,.watered it per instructions and itls been weeks and nothing growing.Don;t use thia stuff
