Decent case. Bad fans.
I've been running this case on a pi4 server for a little over a year now, and while it still does what it's supposed to, both fans have reached a state where they make a rattling sound. I get about a 20C drop in temperature when the fans are hooked up.I get about 42C temperatures on a busy server when the fans are hooked up, despite the noise. With the fans unplugged it gets up around 60C. So the passive cooling is still OK, but the noise has become really annoying.

Solid, but the wires?? And never turns off.
Nice solid case. You can manually turn on and off the fans by touch, though I don't really understand the benefit of that. As far as I can tell, it doesn't seem to be thermostatically controlled -- the fans are always on. But the're not too loud, and the case with fans does keep the temperature stable under a load of several simultaneous benchmark programs running. The thing that bothers me the most about this is the wires that stick out. It just makes it look ad-hoc. There should be some engineered way of not having them stick out like that. That aspect of it is just fugly.

Love the case and the look. I would buy it again with no hesitations.
This case is very nice. It is well constructed and good quality. Fitment is nice. The fans help reduce temperatures by 20 degrees F under a constant use of movie streaming. Overall very happy with the case.Only cons about the case are that the blue color of the top and the bottom pieces are slightly different shades. The other thing is that the wires for the fan stick out above the height of the case, if they didn’t stick out it would make it easier to slip into a pocket and would have a much cleaner appearance. Apart from that I would buy this case again.

Does what it says on the tin
I rarely write reviews, but as someone who is naturally skeptical of any cooling claims for the Raspberry Pi (starting around the 3B to today), I hesitantly bought this case/cooler hoping to handle the workload of a 24/7 DoH and VPN server on a 4B+ in turbo mode. Naked board at room temperature hovered around 61 degrees C and (naturally) throttled under load. Same board in this case idles at 39 degrees C and won't go above 67 degrees C with cpuburn-a53 running nonstop for over an hour. Very impressed! Fans are quiet enough that I couldn't effectively hear them with my ear held to them.

Solid body, poor quality fans
I'm surprised and pleased with the body, it's heavy and solid. It could probably survive a direct impact explosion. However, the fans are what made me give this only 3 stars. I've had this running 24/7 for about 2 weeks now and one fan has already gotten so noisy that I had to relocate and repurpose it for another function. The other fan is near silent, but the one fan is too loud for normal operation. The capacitive touch on/off is a nice feature, but with the fan as noisy as it is, the only solution is to turn the fans off. Which defeats the point of having fans.

Pretty awesome enclosure but only the temperature control...
I love this case! It keeps the PI very safe but from physical damage to the board but i had to remove the heat sinks and i really noticed the difference in temperature. This is in order to the PI to fit in the enclosure which looks pretty cool. The double fans are quiet but i think is because I live in a place with much more background noise that I didn’t notice. Also the store was pretty good on point with the shipping and very professional package thank you so much

Solved my overheating problem
This dropped my temp on my overclocked Pi3B+ and solved my overheating issues. It is very well built and easy to assemble. My only gripe was that the mounting holes on the bottom if you are mounting the case somewhere were a bit small and are smaller than most common screws that you might have. It's def not a deal breaker, just need to take a trip to the hardware store to get a couple. Overall, a very good value and a very nice case if you plan on overclocking or want to mount your Pi somewhere.

Works great... Until it doesn't.
For the first couple months we had this case, it worked pretty well. The fans did make a bit of noise like the other review said, wasn't a huge deal. However, less than 3 months into having the case, the fans stopped working. But not even just stopped working, blew out or SOMETHING because suddenly the Pi smells like electrical fire, like they shorted or something.Thankfully Pi is okay, but the fans stopping working less than 3 months in is not. This Pi runs all day every day as a home assistant, needs constantly working fans. Will be buying elsewhere next time.

Not fit for constant use
First of all, this case is really nice and fits together very securely. Looks great too.The tiny fans are what you'd expect: they do a good job but are fairly noisy. I had hoped to use this for the PI that sits in my network rack that is in constant use but over time the fans just seem to get more and more noisy and I predict that they'll eventually fail and need to be replaced with better ones.

I Had Doubts - But Then Bench Testing Validated its Cooling Capability
For testing, used "SYSBENCH" (sudo apt-get install sysbench) then ran script: ( while true; do vcgencmd measure_clock arm; vcgencmd measure_temp; sleep 1; done& sysbench –num-threads=8 –test=cpu –cpu-max-prime=10000000000 run ) EleDuino - Makes Pi Cases Great Again ....

No contact with CPU
This heatsink looks great but it has NO CONTACT WITH CPU! it just blows air on it, which is not efficient, to say the least. Heat stress on PCB and shorter life of your PI is what yu look at.

Poorly made
Fans started making buzzing noise about a week after starting them up. No physical contact between processors and metal case either so the case does not contribute to heat dissipation at all.

Greatly improved from their older designs
Solid case + easy install. Had a previous EleDuino case for my RPI3 which required me to undo 8 screws before I could get to the MicroSD card. Glad they changed it to a tool free microSD swap out on their RPI4 case.
