Very comfortable and adjustable with removal of foam. Cool side really does keep the heat down! Be sure to wash outer covers before using - smell goes away and doesn’t return!! I like these pillows a lot, and they are a bargain.

This cooling memory foam pillow is amazing! I’m a side sleeper, and this pillow has completely changed the game for me. I was previously using a down-filled pillow that was supposedly designed for side sleepers, but honestly, it doesn't even come close to the support and comfort this one offers.It’s perfectly firm without feeling stiff, and it cradles my head and neck in a way that actually relieves pressure. I love that you can remove some of the filling to customize the loft (even though I haven’t needed to—the default fill is perfect for me).The cooling effect is a nice bonus too. It doesn't trap heat like other pillows I’ve tried, which makes a huge difference for a good night’s sleep.If you're a side sleeper looking for real support and comfort, I’d highly recommend giving this a try. I had a set of king pillows I bought about 4 years ago by a small business called Dreamy Blue that, at the time, averaged around $55 each, and I absolutely loved them. I'm a side sleeper who frequently gets overheated & needs a pillow to wrap around and prop my leg up over while I'm resting to keep my spine & back supported. The Dreamy Blue pillows were absolutely perfect for this, but the cover for the pillows frequently left me overheating & uncomfortable, so I set out to find a comparable pillow that would be just as firm, but cooler while I slept.This pillow was highly rated on Amazon, so I decided to give it a try. The filling capacity to this pillow is immense--it is very easy to adjust to the exact firmness or softness you require by simply adding or removing foam. It comes with some extra foam as well, so you can perfectly adjust it to your preference.Having said that, initially upon opening there is a very strong chemical smell associated with the foam. The manufacturer assured me this was normal, so to puff it out faster & help get rid of the smell I tossed it in the dryer for about 20-30 mins with some Gain dryer sheets on tumble dry low, then pulled it out & sprayed it down with Febreze, which seemed to do the trick.The first night I immediately felt more comfortable and rested. I liked that I could flip the pillow over to a "cooling" side or a "warmer" side to adjust according to my body temperature. I tend to run really hot when I sleep, so being able to flip it over to a much cooler fabric face was just heavenly. This effect could be felt even through the pillowcases I had purchased for it (I really recommend getting some 100% Vicose Bamboo fabric pillowcases; Amazon has some that are mixed-fabric every now and then, but those tend to grab at your hair & get uncomfortable after the first wash. Look for ones that are 100% Bamboo; it really does make a HUGE HUGE difference if you're a hot sleeper!!) and I was immensely grateful for that.Plus, the value for the money here is unbeatable; you get two pillows essentially for the price of what would normally be only one anywhere else. That these pillows are so immensely comfortable & easy to wash and maintain, on top of that, makes it an easy decision.Definitely try these pillows out--you won't regret it!

I sure wanted to love these pillows. They came packaged nicely and are nice and soft. Like that you can remove stuffing if the pillows are too puffy. The pillows and the cases on them on nice. One side is a soft side and the other is a cool side and they are labeled. Well I put a pillowcase to match my bedding on them and the cool side did not feel cool. In fact my other pillows felt cooler. We sleep with 2 pillows. So the next night I slept on the actual pillowcase and it felt cool initially then did not feel cool and longer. The other side is definitely not cool so I reached for my other pillow that was cooler. I am sending them back. Very disappointing.

First off, let me say that these types of pillows are my go-to over the old polyester filled ones I used to buy. When you combine that and a cooling cover? Sold! With a price-point like this, it was an easy choice.When it arrived it was overstuffed and needed to have a little material removed. Easily done. Then I combined it and a bamboo fabric cooling case and it was the right mix of soft and puffy with good support. I was pleased with the quality of manufacture also, that some pillows I've tried have lacked and allowed stuffing to come out.Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised with these pillows and would recommend them to the My Pillow crowd.

Have been using them for a good amount of time now and can say that they make my bed soo much more comfy! My old pillows would go flat and I could never get them to re-fluff! These ones do go flat but I just flip them to the other side and they're more fluffy. You can also take out the memory foam to make them as thick or thin as you need or as fluffy or flat as you want! Highly recommend for a more comfy sleep! Sometimes it does get hot and I flip the pillow around which works great for me :) Would definitely buy again! The quality is nice and the fabric is soft as well so it's not harsh on the face or skin or hair.
