McCormick Pure Anise Extract, 2 fl oz

Very strong and potent flavor. Anise is an acquired taste so use sparingly. Sometimes hard to find in a grocery store so it's great that I was able to purchase here and it's definitely a great price point. I use for cooking, tinctures and also sometimes will put a few drops in a bowl of water, sit it out and it will make a room smell sweet and fresh.

I trust the McCormick brand and have been using their products for years and rely on their quality and taste. This was a great price for the larger bottle of extract. Also not that easy to find in many stores.

For some reason, the grocery stores where I live don’t carry this. Thank goodness I can get it promptly from Amazon. How’s am I supposed to make biscotti without it!

I used to make some German cookies around the holidays the flavor is not as strong as anise oil and had to add extra to get the anise flavor.
