Owlet Smart Sock 2 Baby Monitor, Blue

What ever I try to do, the owlet won't connect to my phone. I tried contacting the company via email, they didn't answer.I don't know what else to do.

For a $300 "Smart" Sock I am highly disappointed in this product. I've had it for 90 days and I'd say at best it works 50% of the time. The sock always disconnects from the base station and plays a very loud alarm waking you during sleep. The base station is supposed to have a 100 ft. range with the sock and my sons bedroom is maybe 25 feet from it, yet it happens almost every night. Usually I end up turning the sock off because it wakes me so frequently, making it useless. Additionally the app is very glitchy. Stats don't always load properly or at all. Last but not least, the sock doesn't always charge, even though it's plugged in. There have been many times within the last few weeks that I go to turn the sock on and it's completely dead yet was plugged in all day. I think the concept of the sock is great, but Owlet needs to up their standards if they want to charge $300 for a product that's this unreliable.

Not as described. I was so excited for this sock! Little did I know, that even though the description says connects to base station 100 feet away, that it wouldn’t stay connected to the next room over! Not even 20 feet! Ever hour or so the sock will disconnect and play the very loud sound and flashing lights letting you know •HEY YOU JUST WASTED $300.00•.. VERY dissatisfied

My son spent 141 days in the NICU and had heart surgery and lung issues during his stay. He required oxygen therapy while at home. The pulse ox that the medical company sent us to use was difficult to work and required him to be attached to the probe and wire all the time. It is a blessing that we got the Owlet. It is convenient to have it connected wirelessly and we are able to continuously monitor his oxygen saturation and heart rate. It definitely brings a a peace of mind to my wife and I.

Great piece if mind. My preemie was born at 34w 2d and spent a month in the NICU. He had lung issues and kept having apnea drops. This has given us peace with bring him home. Seeing the data on the app is awesome because you can review the stats.

Unfortunately, I have ordered the product almost two weeks ago and I was unable to use it until now - the app showed an error when attempting to connect to Wi-Fi - customer support told me that the old app is not working and that I will have to wait for the new app - however, they keep postponing the launch of the new app and, in the meantime, the product cannot be used. The customer support was really unhelpful - took them 1 hour to understand what was the problem (although I sent print-screens with the error) and their only solution was to wait. Most likely I will return it.

We were on the fence as to if we should buy this or not before baby arrived. After our short NICU stay, we wanted something to put our minds at ease. This Owlet has been a game changer. We feel so much more relaxed falling asleep each night knowing that the owlet WILL sounds the alarm if it needs to. I’m a really heavy sleeper, and it has woken me up one time out of a dead sleep. We’ve only had sock placement issues (few and far between) from our babe kicking feet until it eventually came loose on the foot part but I feel confident it knows when to yell for help. The battery charges quickly so that you are able to continue use most of the day. The only issues we have is with the app itself... it’s not always consistent and does have quite a few bugs that needs working on but even if the app is down or being glitchy, we’ve found the sock and sock base will STILL perform perfectly without the app recording statistics.

My daughter called with excitement at all of the various features on this product through her phone. Oxygen, heart rate and other items were extremely important to her especially when he is sick. So far so good! Hopefully this product will hold up. The price might be a little steep but as I told my daughter, I'm purchasing it for my grand babies because there is no money worth the health and well-being of our family.
