Big and very sturdy.
After living through many lower priced basins, I finally chose this basin because I have had good luck with other Rubbermaid products plus its advertised weight suggested a much stronger construction that the others. The others have all broken in one way. I am an old guy. I clean up the kitchen every night gladly because my wife is a terrific cook, using lots of pots, pans, gadgets, etc. So I have done a zillion dishes and gone through many flimsy basins. Those basins have not been strong enough to permit picking up a full basin of water. I am very happy with this one. I ordered the largest one (Rubbermaid makes 3 sizes whose differences are mainly in the height only). I can pick up a full basin, tilt it, pour some out, etc. The basin handles it well. It fits nicely into one side of a double sink with an inch to spare. The Rubbermaid basin seems pricey but not when you count up all the cheaper basins you can go through.

Heavy-Duty, Sturdy, High Quality, Uniform
Bought a 4th identical 15.6-quart Rubbermaid tub for matching storage in a white and pastel room. High sides and rectangular solid shape are advantageous.

sturdy and deep
My old dishpan was 25 years old. It is deep and a good size. I wish it came in green.

Just what I wanted.
My mother bought this bucket to replace my old one. It cracked while she was helping me do dishes. I like to set it in one side of the sink for dirty dishes to be placed in so you can easily move them when you want to use both sides of the sink. And then when I'm almost ready to do the rinsing I fill it up with warm water and let the dishes soak so it doesn't take as long and I use less water. I think this bucket is actually thicker than the old one I had. That one lasted for many years so I'm thinking this one will too or maybe even longer. Since the old one cracked I now use it for tossing my produce in before I bury it for trench composting. Very happy with this one so far! It fits in my sink perfectly and, like I said, I think it's even sturdier than my last one.

STURDY!
I like doing dishes by hand and this dishpan has made it even more enjoyable. It's almost silly to say but after using cheap, flimsy pans, this one's amazing. I have 3-part sink with a small center disposal and dump my dishpan in the center section. The sturdiness of this pan makes it so much easier, and the smooth shiny surface stays clean. Definitely worth the extra price...I'm guessing it will outlast several cheaper dishpans.
