Great works well

Love this concept. It is so convenient. Don't have to look for a switch anymore. Wish the cord was a little longer and the foot pedal is very light-weight so the cord wants to flip it over on its side.

The best of the best

At the suggestion of a friend, I recently picked up this switch to use with my table saw. It works perfectly well. You step on the petal to power the saw and remove your foot to let the saw wind down.This proved very fortunate recently as I was cutting some small, thin pieces of wood. I took my foot off the saw and took a step to my right, at which point the table saw kicked one of the cut pieces back into my stomach.I ended up with a bruise and a Lesson, but I had stepped off the switch and the saw was running at no more than 1/3 of its full power when it tossed the wood back my way. This switch was the difference between a bruise and a trip to the hospital.In general I am very careful with the table saw but accidents can happen and the ability to cut power to the saw buy stepping off this switch is invaluable.

This is the second one of these I have purchased and would buy again. I use it to control my scroll saws.

A great foot switch.

It was not what I expected. I wanted to switch that I could turn it on and off, but not hold it down while I’m sawing.
