Does this work for Mac?

I have OS X 10.11.4 (El Capitan). It does work. It took awhile for me to figure out what the pairing prompt was instructing me to do, but here it is: When you pair and you see a six-digit number, enter that on your bluetooth keyboard and PRESS ENTER. So, even though the product description does not show that OS X is supported, I got it to work with my Macbook Air (11-inch, Early 2014).Same deal with mobile devices: You have to press the ENTER/RETURN key after entering the six-digit pair code.

Does this keyboard have the function keys F1 through F12?

How hard is it to reach the keys that are separated by the large gap (touch typing)?

The gap between the left and right hand groups of keys is not a problem for me because I do not reach over the gap with either hand. Proper touch typing should not require one to reach over the gap.

Does the keyboard lock in an open position? If I put the keyboard on my lap will it fold and fall between my thighs? Thanks!

It does not lock and would not be a good lap keyboard.
