I bought this, because I was having tons and tons of back pain / sciatica, for months, even though I had just bought a new mattress. My new mattress was very supportive (medium firm), but it was a little bit too hard, I guess. I was spending a ton of money on the chiropractor and on massage therapy, with no discernible improvement, because even though I’d feel better after the treatment, every night I would go back to sleep on the same mattress, and it would mess up my back again, by morning. It was costing me a bundle.I bought this pillow, because I was getting desperate, and didn’t want to have to toss my expensive mattress, yet again! So, I thought I’d give this a try. I live in Canada, and this is one of the only lumbar sleep pillows that would ship up there, directly. So, I paid a lot in direct shipping costs, but in the end, it was 100% worth it.At first, it was really stiff, and, for the first month, or so, it was actually bothering my back - the pointy part in the centre was just irritating things even more, and I was feeling really dismayed. In retrospect, I now know that this was because it hadn’t been broken in yet. You have to be patient with this product, and give it some time.Rather than return it, and waste my money, I decided to use it under my knees for a few weeks, and, over time, I noticed that it gradually softened up. So, at that point I tried it on my back again, and lo and behold, it was like a different pillow! Ever since then, it’s been working extremely well for me and I absolutely love it! I now have excellent lumbar support, it doesn’t hurt me anymore, and my back/sciatica pain has gone away.I find that I do have to adjust it, quite a bit, to get it in the right spot, and it tends to slide around sometimes, while I am sleeping, because I roll around a lot. So, every night I just put it back to where I want it, before I go to sleep.I would say that you have to give it about a month, or two, of putting weight on it (as I said, I would recommend using it under your knees at first), so that the pointy domed part softens up, and, then, at that point, it’s really great. I would buy this again without any hesitation, and I fully recommend it. For me, it’s been a lifesaver! I would like it even better if it was a little bit longer, so that is a suggestion I would make the manufacturer – just to maybe lengthen it by about 6 to 10 more inches (length only - the width is fine), but that’s a very minor point.

I bought this to support and straighten my back. As a side sleeper I could tell my back was not aligned and a regular bed pillow at my waist was too much. After shopping around this one looked like what I needed and got good reviews. It does what it is designed to do and my back feels good in the morning. I like that it has a removable cover that can be washed. Even though it’s memory foam it’s not hot I guess due to the fabric of the cover. The only down side is that it is BIG. Not in thickness. That part is just right but I’m only 5’4” so it’s under a very large part of my body - 15.5.” It also covers a wide area of my bed - 27.” I guess that’s so one size fits all, but it’s way too wide for me. I could do with one about 10” narrower. My husband and I like to spoon when we sleep and the size of this makes it awkward. I’m glad I bought it and for the most part it’s fine, but not perfect for my needs.

It’s a nope for me! I’ll start with the positive. The pillow is soft and feels nice to the touch. However, this pillow did absolutely nothing for back support. The ridge is not ridging! It’s uncomfortable to lay on top as a side sleeper and it gave me zero lower back support. I’ll be returning this.

Honestly, this is the best thing I have ever bought. For the last couple of years I have suffered from back pain, especially when I wake up in the morning recently I decided to get another mattress to help with the back pain, but I still have the pain so before returning the mattress I purchased this item and it has made a world of a difference. honestly, I sleep like a baby, I do not toss and turn, I do not have back pain anymore. I wish I would have purchased this before buying a whole Other mattress. I recommend this item to anyone that suffers from back pain after waking up or tossing, and turning while sleeping if they sleep on their back or their side.

I am totally dissatisfied and disappointed with this pillow especially given the cost and the advertisement of this product. It is just a “slightly stiff piece of foam” designed to look as though support is built into it BUT it is not! in my opinion. It is little more than a cushion. The advertisement suggested to me that the elevated ridge of the pillow would offer support that could be “felt” by the body part as though it is being supported. I have done better with a pillow. I paid $45.00 plus tax for this pillow. I was told I could return it. But Because I really wanted to give it a fair chance, I decided to sleep on it. I was dissatisfied within a few mins. Since I laid my body on it, I am not returning it also, I just could not handle the hassle of having to repackage and return it. For me it is a total waste of money and time. Chandler

Exactly what I needed. I actually use it under my neck for herniated discs and it’s lowered my morning neck pain substantially.
