Best I have ever used
This is the best cocktail shaker I have ever had and worth every penny. If you're thinking you might want to get the cheaper single wall stainless steel shaker, think again. The double wall is essential to not having the whole outside freeze up and make your hands cold and stuck to the shaker. Think "Christmas Story" tongue on pole scene. I had bought a cheaper shaker before buying this one that I did not like and ended up throwing away. This was keeps your hands from getting cold, has a lid that fits well, does not leak, is super easy to clean, and the top can be used as a jigger. OXO has made another great product! I will never use another shaker for making cocktails.

Fantastic shaker!
Fantastic shaker! I bought this as a gift for my elderly aunt. Her son tested it out for leaks and found no problems. He said it is of excellent quality and my aunt is super pleased that it is easy for her to use, even for her arthritic hands. It’s nice bonus that there are measurements in the top part of the shaker. OXO always has such great products to offer!!

Best Cocktail Shaker EVER!
This thing is amazing. I had been wanting a shaker for a long time. I finally purchased one from a big box store. The thing leaked terribly and it was impossible to get apart after being used. My husband and I were using a knife to pry it apart. I figured there had to be a better shaker out there. After reading the reviews for this shaker I thought I'd give it a try. This shaker doesn't leak at all and it is so easy to get apart. Spend a few extra bucks to get this shaker, it's so worth it!!!

Tested 4 separate units - every single one leaked
UPDATE July 2021 - The Elevated Craft Cocktail shaker is what I needed. If you can afford it, don't even bother with this. I've been using mine for about 7 to 8 months now, and I'm annoyed that I didn't buy a backup during the Kickstarter campaign, because they're phenomenal. I moved all my other cobbler shakers into storage, and I haven't touched my Boston shaker since getting the EC.------------------------------This shaker has so much potential, it simply is unusable because it leaks. I tried exchanged this 3 times (ie. I tested 4 different units) of this same shaker, and every single one leaked. This is massively disappointing, because I know for a fact that units that do not leak exist (my friend has this exact product, and his doesn't leak.) Still, after testing 4 different ones, I gave up.Pros:> Stainless Steel> Brushed Steel looks great> Nice pouring mouth that should be easy to clean> Double wall, vacuum insulted should get drinks colder and keep them colder, longer without diluting as much as normal shakersCons:> LeaksOther:> The plastic container that OXO packages this in is very low quality, brittle and flimsy. Every single one of the boxes either was a bit broken when I received it, or broke a bit while I was removing the shaker. Not really a con, just some extra info.If I were reading this review, I'd be skeptical and wonder if this was simply another case of user error. Allow me to share my testing methodology to alleviate that fear for you.I can not think of any instance in which shakers are meant to shake anything but iced (or at least cold) drinks. Therefore, all of my testing was done first with cold water and then cold water with ice in it.1) Put in water / water & ice, being very sure not to go past the fill line (most tests I intentionally didn't get anywhere near the fill line, just to be doubly sure it wasn't user error.)2) Make sure there's no water anywhere on the unit besides the inside cavity (I wanted to be sure that any leaks were actual leaks, not just water I'd splashed prior to sealing to unit.)3) Put on lid and put significant pressure on it to seal (after the first few tests showed leaking, I actually smacked it a couple times in latter tests to insure a seal as best as possible.)4) Begin shaking while maintaining as much pressure as possible on the unit to maintain the seal. I'm a relatively strong guy in my late 20s, so we're not talking about someone who can't apply proper pressure to keep the unit sealed. Additionally, although shaking doesn't sound that difficult, I made sure to watch multiple instructional videos by professional bartenders on how to properly use a cobbler shaker in order to make sure I was doing everything (including the shake) properly.Every single time without fail, I had leaking. It wasn't always from the same place either. A few of the shakers leaked a bit less than the others, but when you're talking about potentially sticky drinks, any leaking at all is entirely unacceptable. I contacted OXO to see if they had any issues with people reporting leaking from this unit in the past, and they said no - I'm not sure whether they don't have a good system of logging complaints about products, if they were lying, if people who have problems just deal with a bit of leaking, if they don't call in with complaints, or what. They also offered to replace it with a different, similar unit, but I do not like the look or the additional complication of that unit (it is the one with the flatter lid an the push-button seal - it also has the potential to clog and the push button area is very difficult to clean properly.)***I should note that Amazon's customer service was flawless. They even expedited shipping (next day) when I started having issues. It was wonderful doing business with this company, and I do not blame them for any of the issues I had with the product!***

Slightly out-of-round
Great product - Except - it was poorly packed, i.e. not protected by packing on all sides. It was slightly out-of-round, causing it to leak because the lid/strainer did not fit properly. Using calipers and some physical adjustment, I was able to correct the problem.

The Best Shaker!
This is a great shaker. Not quite as fancy looking as some of the others on the market. But, it performs exceptionally. The double walled feature is great, my hands don't freeze anymore. There are no leaks when I tip it over to pour contents into a glass and the shaker does well being put through dishwasher cycles.

Works Like a Charm
I normally use a Boston shaker for cocktails, but I wanted a cobbler shaker because my Boston doesn't do very well with dry shaking. The glass on tin doesn't seal well enough if it's not chilled. This cobbler shaker is perfect for times when the Boston won't do. It seals well, but the top is easy to remove for pouring. It's heavy enough to be stable, but comfortable in my hands (and I have fairly small hands). The insulated base is great when there is ice in the shaker as it doesn't get as frosty cold outside. A good addition to my bar supplies.
