A must-have for any coffee setup, even at your mother's house.
I keep this one at my mother's house because I must have a scale everywhere I brew. It's compact, reliable, and does exactly what it's supposed to—measure coffee with precision. The built-in timer is a nice touch, ensuring consistency in every cup.Pros:Compact Design: Fits easily under most espresso machines, making it perfect for travel or secondary setups.Precision: Measures in 0.1g increments, which is essential for dialing in espresso shots.Built-in Timer: Helps maintain consistency in brewing times.Affordable: Doesn't break the bank, yet performs admirably.Cons:Build Quality: It's lightweight, which is great for portability, but it doesn't feel as sturdy as some higher-end models.Battery Operated: Uses AAA batteries; a rechargeable option would be more convenient. In summary, the Weightman Espresso Scale with Timer is a solid choice for anyone needing a reliable, portable scale. It's not the most luxurious option out there, but it gets the job done without fuss. Perfect for ensuring your coffee game is on point, even when visiting family.

Mmm this. This is good.
Great measuring scale for those that need to Scale down in size. Very responsive to changes as it updates in real time. Timer is nice function. Backlight is a little too bright. Wish it could hold more than just 1 kg.

Easy to use, just big enough to not have issues.
I use this scale to make coffee every morning. I'll stack the mug and a V60 with grounds and filter paper in it onto the scale, turn it on, and start pouring water - when you turn the scale on, it automatically tares to zero, streamlining the process a bit. I do this to measure out the grounds too - I put the empty grinder on the scale and then turn it on and pour in the whole beans. I've been doing this for a few months and the batteries still have a good bit of life left in them. The biggest thing I've used on it is a Hario Drip Decanter and that was a bit on the janky side - I wouldn't want to use anything any bigger. It tends to approach the weight limit when making more than a cup or two's worth at a time, anyways.I can't definitively comment on the accuracy - some people care more than I do and have reference weights - but I'm able to get pretty repeatable results with my coffee, so it's at least consistent enough for that.In summary, it gets the job done well enough for making coffee for one or two people at a time. Costs a fourth as much as more "professional" scales from Hario or Timemore, and definitely does better than a fourth of the job that those do. Would recommend as a first scale.

Perfect little scale!
I use this for espresso and it’s perfect. Small and compact and accurate! Easy to use and accidentally got soaked with an overpour and still works great

Accurate and consistent
This little guy has held up despite rough handling. It is a good, inexpensive arm of the bean, grind, and weight triad of pour-over coffee

Great coffee scale! Perfect for Aeropress and travel!
Great little travel coffee scale! The scale looks very compact, but can fit a standard coffee cup. The clear cover protects the scale during travel. Physical buttons are straight forward and easy to use. I tested the scale against my kitchen scale and another travel scale that I was considering. The weight on this scale was accurate matched the weight of my kitchen scale. It also features a timer function which is helpful for use with my Aeropress recipes.

Good, but Timer stopped working
this was a good scale for a few weeks, but then the timer stopped working. The scale part still works fine.Perhaps espresso dripped under the button. But if so, that is another potential issue with the design: if you're using it to weigh espresso shots with a bottomless filter, it is on the front lines of any rogue sprays from channeling, and it really should be waterproof. This is not a fault, but it's also very small--fine for a cup of espresso or grinds, but I can't balance the whole portafilter on it.
