Had to replace Shimano BH59 with BH90 hose for my new calipers/levers and while this tool did the trick, it did come with an issue. The tool threaded in to the BH90 hose but did not thread into the BH59. I had to use pieces of rubber band to thread it on the bh59 hose. It took several attempts to get it to stay in place without pulling back out. Eventually I had the confidence to push/pull the hoses through the frame and it worked perfectly.

This is a must have item in your bike toolbox. If you're replacing existing housing, this is wonderful.Used it once to replace my dropper housing and it worked great. Just make sure it's threaded into both ends all the way. If you pull too hard it will slip out and then your going to be feeding housing from scratch!Haven't used it for hydraulic brake cable yet, but I'm sure it works.

Absolute must have for any bike owner who wants to do their own maintenance. Used on 2 mountain bikes and one beach cruiser this week. My girlfriend thinks I am amazing for fixing her bikes so quick! Best $5 I ever spent!

This was an amazing effort/time saver. I attached one end to the SRAM brakes I was getting rid of, and the other end to my new Shimano XT brakes. A few pulls & pushes later and my new brakes were internally routed with ease!

It does the job. Super small, easy to lose. It works very well.I used this to route new disc brake hose through my ebike frame.

Needed to pull a dropper cable housing through my specialized Stumpjumper. Used this tool to connect to the old cable housing. Connected up very easily. Stayed connected as I pulled the old one out and the new one through.

I bought this in anticipation of replacing my brake lines when replacing the brake calipers on my bike, and it worked extremely well. No issues at all with the hoses coming off of the connector! I was nervous about this part of the project but this made it a nonissue.

This is exactly what I needed to replace my internally routed dropper and rear brake hose , a very handy tool and easy to use , just screw both hoses together and pull out the old hose whilst pushing the new hose through
