Tempur-PedicSleep Mask, One Size, Navy, 1 Count (Pack of 1)

I can’t have enough of these at home. I have several. These are comfortable for all night sleep - and I’m a guy who hates wearing watches or any kind of rings or devices. I don’t like the regular eye patches. But these are soothing. I also use by my sofa area and use with AirPods Pro (noise cancelling) for ultimate power naps. These are must have whether you’re traveling any class. You are in your own universe.

I bought the Tempur-Pedic sleep mask years ago, and my only complaint is that I have difficulty sleeping without it! I bought it because my neighbor leaves his house at 4 AM and the floodlights shine directly into my bedroom windows.Instead of those cheap masks, this one contains Tempur-Pedic foam, and thus feel substantial. The outer covering is like velvet, although this gets a bit less soft if you wash it. Oddly, they say to not wash it, which might be to prevent mold in the foam. However, no matter how well I get my makeup off, I still have remnants of mascara when I wake up. That, and microorganisms on our skin, makes me want to clean it because it just gives me the icks not to. If you go this route, just hand wash and understand that it will take a long time to dry (more than two days if you air dry--I once put it in my dryer on the air dry cycle and that cut down on the drying time).The other thing about cheap masks is that they let light get through the edges. In contrast, this mask has special pads that sit under your eyes, and the mask is adjustable with a velcro tab at the back of your head. The velcro hasn't affected my hair; I have gotten some hair caught in it but it's been rare.I have taken this mask camping with me so I can get some sleep past dawn, and when I went back to an area in Alaska in the summer when the sun dips down briefly and then rises up again very quickly after. When I lived there, we'd put blankets over the windows so we could get some sleep--I didn't need to do that on this trip thanks to this mask!I recently bought one for my mom who was in the hospital and she loved it. Highly recommend!

I bought this item 8 years ago and I ordered a new one recently to replace it. My old one was in decent condition after all these years, except the strap has stretched out and became too loose. I also sent it through the wash cycle even though the instructions say not to, but it's lasted this long anyways. If you are on the fence about whether or not to buy it, I highly recommend it because it is soft, comfortable, conforms well to the face/nose and most importantly, it blocks out all the light. I can't sleep without it. Quality looks the same as it was 8 years ago.

Sad to say that Tempur-pedic has changed the quality and material in this mask...and not for the better. I have bought about 8 of these masks over the last 10 years and have always loved them...but this new one is lighter and not as contoured as previous models and the once plush outer material is now a thin shell of material...what a shame to ruin a product. Perhaps they wanted to keep from raising the price or maybe they just decided that they could produce an inferior product and live on their reputation. Well I realize I am just one customer and you probably don't care much if you lose me as a customer, but I will continue to let anyone interested in knowing what a pile of crap you are producing.

I wear a sleeping mask every night. Over the years, I've tried 4 or 5 different masks off of amazon, along with plenty of random masks from airport stores etc., and this is my favorite. Here are some of the reasons why:It blacks out light completely. No tiny streaks of light peeking in on the sides.It's comfortable. The material is very soft, so if you sleep on your stomach (like I do), you can plant your face into it and it just feels like a pillow. There is a dimple in the middle so that the foam doesn't push up on your eyeballs.It doesn't move around. I roll around a lot and it's generally right in place when I wake up.The strap is adjustable, you can make it as tight or loose as you want to fit your face.It lasts. You can wash it in the washing machine if it gets gross. It comes out of the dryer fluffy and clean. I bought my current one two years ago, have worn it basically every night, and there are no signs of wear. The elastic is still strong, no seams or threads fraying.In other reviews, I've seen some people complain generally about sleep masks pushing on the bridge of their nose and causing discomfort (I read a TON of these reviews while looking for the right mask). In my experience, most masks do that, and this one does push a little on your nose, but because the outer fabric and inner foam are so soft, I think it's less bothersome with this mask than some others.
