USA Sourced and Produced, Human Grade Quality, No Fillers, Good & Simple Ingredients, Highly Tolerable and Palatable
I was VERY excited to find a USA sourced and USA produced vitamin supplement! So rare! Some vitamins are produced in the USA, but sourced overseas, and many are sourced and produced overseas. Further, it contains "human quality" ingredients, NO YEAST, WHEAT, CORN, SALT, SUGAR, OR OTHER HARMFUL ADDITIVES. A look at many, if not most, vitamin and mineral supplements reveals that they often contain sugar, and also other several ingredients that an animal with food sensitivities or allergies may have adverse reactions to. Dr. Goodpet Golden Age Vitamins and Minerals were the only ones that I was able to find that were the quality and simplicity of ingredients that I needed. I have only been using them for my senior German Shepherd for a couple of weeks, but I know that now that I am (at her holistic vet's suggestion) feeding her CalRose White Rice, Organic Free Range Bison, and a bit of pureed pumpkin (to add fiber so that she does not become constipated from the rice), that she needed the additional vitamins and minerals to assure that she was getting all that her body requires (note that the protein, A side note is that I feed my dog bison, and alternate with venison, as these are the only two proteins that she doesn't seem to be sensitive toward. Her vet recommended that due to her being in her senior years that her diet be primarily carbohydrates, and that the white rice base was a good carbohydrate source, and the staple of a bland diet that would help my dog with her sensitive system. I can attest that I was able to start my sensitive gal on the full dosage of Dr. Goodpet Golden Age Vitamins and Minerals powder with no GI issues! That is saying a lot, as my girl seems to always respond to full dosages of any new supplement with diarrhea or a regurgitation or two. She's had no trouble assimilating to this supplement, and readily eats it. It is a powder. The dosage is 1 teaspoon per 10 lbs. Even with a large dog, that makes this supplement a great value! I highly recommend these vitamins and minerals if you are making your dog's food and need to make certain that they are getting all of the vitamins and minerals they need.

Not sure, but.......
Not sure, as my cat that I got this for, and a different brand as well, is a barf-o-kitty. I started out giving him only what turns out to be 1/16 tsp ( a little spoon from Bed Bath and Beyond that says a Smidgeon, but I measured it) and he threw that up. So did my other kitty, who, so far can eat anything. So now I am giving them just a sprinkling, such as one might add a bit of salt to one's food. This seems to work and they don't throw it up, but I know they are not getting much in the way of vitamins and minerals. Maybe I can increase it with time. My barf-o-kitty who is nine years old but has always had a sensitive digestive system (I do give him probiotics as well) is losing the fur off of his back legs, so I want to give him something to help nourish him. If he was a human kid, I swear! he would be one of those frustrating children who only eat peanut butter and jelly on Wonder bread 3 time a day. My other cat seems to be adjusting and she is nice and healthy.

How do I get my cat to eat this stuff?
I love the product, I think it's a great idea. I love my cat, but my old cranky cat will not touch his food when he gets a wiff. I have tried everything, so I don't know if it really works. I am giving it 3 stars only because my cranky old cat doesn't seem to like it, and I can't write how it is doing for him.

IT IS IN A POWDER FORM AND IF YOUR PET IS FINICKY ABOUT IT BEING IN THEIR FOOD, YOU CAN FOLD A PIECE OF PAPER AND USE IT TO POUR IT INTO A SYRINGE WITH A LITTLE WATER IN THE SYRINGE. SHAKE IT UP. THEN YOU CAN PUT IT DIRECTLY INTO THEIR MOUTH. ANOTHER PRODUCT THAT I BOUGHT IS MORE GRANULAR AND WON'T COME OUT OF A SYRINGE.

My Vet says this is a good product
My Westie is 11 years old, talked to my Vet. And he is in agreement to put our Frosty with this multi vitamin. He's only used it for 5 day's. Let's see how he does in about a monthWent with this product because of the great reviews. More to come

I took this to the vet with my cat for his senior exam. Vet said it has good vitamins for the cat and recommended I continue to use it. I sprinkle it on his food. That is why I like the powder form. No stress for the cat or me. I only wish it had glucosimine in it too. Overall, an excellent supplement for senior pets.

My dog got sick on these, had to throw out. It could just be our baby, he's older.
