Battery works great, and at less than half the cost of the cheapest one from the Dell site. Exact fit, and if you didn't remove it you wouldn't know it wasn't an OEM battery. I would recommend it to anyone also Amazon's shipping was great.

Battery worked well for a couple of month to hold charge, then was less and less in holding charge as months followed. Battery died after 7 months. I would not purchase again.

I got this to replace my Dell Inspired 5559's worn-out battery, and it seems to work fine so far. I haven't opened it up to check on the quality of its cells, but for now it has restored the computer to its original battery life. Who knows how long it will work for though, since it's definitely made a little worse than the OEM ones.Several years later, the battery had worn down (as to be expected) and was showing an "error" message on my laptop. Replaced the cells inside with new ones and reinstalled the battery, which immediately bricked the laptop. No power light, no fans, no signs of life. Checked for shorted / blown components and did not find anything noticeable - I have no doubt the motherboard *could* be repaired but doing so would be very difficult.

I was hesitant on buying a cheaper version of my needed battery but for price difference was a no brainer.The battery fit perfectly in my Dell Inspiron 17 5000 series, pretty amazed really.Great buy, worth every cent.

Worked perfectly for my Dell Inspiron 15. Didn't have any problem changing it out. Battery life holds up during the work day no issues

This battery lasted only a year before completely shutting down. And for the last 5 months, held a charge for only 30 minutes or so.

It fits my Dell Decent value for the money. It holds charge.
