I have a few books for the 4l80e, (and others,) as I am building this transmission myself at home. This book has specs for clearances that the other fail to include, (which is disgusting, as that is exactly what you need.) I have the workbook series by Eric McCellan, has nice pictures but not many actual clearance specs. the ATSG book is spendy, but really the only book you need, I have included a few pic to show what I mean. This is my fourth transmission book that I have purchased to rebuild my own transmissions, and is far and away the best. Save your money, and buy ATSG books,

Pics are very poor in book some hard to even tell what they were. I just watched videos on my phone but does have all measurements for drums and lots of good info just didn't like pics
