Have been looking for a vest that will hold my normally used camera lenses and be comfortable. This appears to be it. The first thing to note is that the size listed is frequently not the size for Americans. The sizes listed are accurate for American sizes. Second, this is comfortable and lightweight. Plenty of pockets front, back, and inside. It's too lightweight to put a pistol inside if you're thinking about using it for concealed carry. I'll also use the vest for metal detecting and other activities. Washable? Haven't had it long enough to have to wash it, so I can't comment on this. It appears to be of high quality. I recommend this if you are looking for a late spring/summer/early fall vest.

I'm 5'8" guy with muscular build and wear a 42 suit jacket and large size T-shirts. I needed a new photo vest to store a lens, flash and accessories. (The photos I uploaded are lighter in color due to my flash.)Based on the size chart I ordered a medium vest in gray. The color is a dark bluish/slate toned gray, very pleasing color versus the usual khaki color. It fit perfectly in length. It has extra room around the arm pit and in the body for maneuverability. The mesh fabric liner allows good ventilation especially as the back can be unzipped and folded away to allow air flow on the back even when carrying a back pack. There are lots of pockets, but the fabric is thin and requires both hands to hold down pockets to unzip or pull up velcro flaps to put something in or pull something out. If the fabric was much stiffer, then single hand operation would be possible when holding a camera or fishing pole, etc. The pocket pouches are large to hold large items.But without anything in them, they are baggy and look messy, not a clean cut look compared to the small pockets. That is why the product pictures are stuffed so the pockets look nice and full. If the pouches were made of stretchy material, then there won't be such a baggy looking. The other odd thing is the zipper. In the US all my jacket zippers have the pull on the right side. But this zipper is on the left side. This is my biggest complaint.

Overall, I'm happy with the vest. The pockets are numerous and very useable. You can really store a lot in the vest if you need too and can even fit a medium sized camera lens (Sony 24-105 f4) in the larger front pockets. I'm 6'3" 195lbs, lean build, and the large is comfortable, but provides little room from extra layers underneath. If purchasing again, I would get the XL, but if you want the vest to be more "form fitting" the large is a good size. The material is light and airy, a little noisy but not bad. It's not a heavy duty work vest, but it is durable enough for general recreational use and light duty work. I would define the zippers as cheap and finicky, but workable. You will definitely be taking an extra moment to make sure the main zipper is properly aligned before zipping it up, or else it just won't go or it will run up one side without actually zipping shut. With the exception of the zippers I think the vest is great and would gladly pay an extra $10 and give 5 stars for same vest, but with zippers that aren't trash.

Bought this for my wife, an outdoor photographer. Small woman, got her the men's small so it can go over a coat during the fall. She loves it. Lots of pockets, well made. The zipper could be a bit stronger. Have not taken it into the field yet.

This vest is great. There are lots of large pockets - I use it in the garden to hold tools and fill pockets with produce. It is well made and a good value for the money. I like the open mesh back to stay cool in the heat of summer. No more misplacing tools and cell phone. They run small so get a larger size than usual. My wife is 5'2" 128 pounds and the Large works well for her. I am 5'8" and 163# and the XX-Large works well for me.

In my long & curmudgeony life, I have had dozens of shirts, jackets, coats, & hoodies with full length zippers that close in the front. In every case, you'd insert the bottom of the left side of the zipper into the "Y" shaped merging thingy at the bottom of the right side. Then, you put some tension on the bottom of the zipper with your left hand while moving the "Y" thingy up & down with your right hand pulling the tab.I've tried to purchase three "fishing vests", and all of them did their zipper backwards -- the "Y" thingy is attached to the left side of the zipper, and sorry, that's just wrong. I've had decades to train my muscle memory, and using the left-handed zipper is awkward. I've tried vests from two different brands, and both have this issue (for all I know, both brands could have gotten their vests from a single manufacturer). Is this a defect? Maybe not -- it doesn't interfere with the functionality. But I got tired of returning the pervious vests.ALSO, I think I'll recommend that you choose one size larger. The "right" sized vest was a little snug.

Love the quality. Fits so much tackle. Would highly recommend!!

buy this vest for the fisherman i use it very often when i go fishing its simple but useful not too many pockets just enough and easy to clean when getting dirty highly recommend this fishing vest

Me dejé guiar por las opiniones de aquí y sorpresa que me lleve por la talla ya que comentan viene reducida. Por ello la compre L y me queda grande ya que soy M. Material y diseño increíble, funcional. Haré el cambio por mi talla mido 1.75 m y peso 66 kg. La L me quedó muy holgada. En fin.

Bought it for travelling - so that I can have lots of pockets. Quality is great - so many pockets and I am honestly glad I bought it. I thought it was a little bit pricey when purchasing, however, now that I have received it, no regrets at all. Also looks fashionable.Sized up 2 sizes after reading reviews. Would suggest to size up one or two sizes.
