Purchased for husband Rex and he wrote this review. This is so lightweight (and as a corollary, so snug), that the photo(s) shown with this item seem downright deceiving. This item is just barely above the weight of pantyhose. It is barely bigger than a bar of soap when you first take it out of the package. It probably WOULD help keep yousomewhat warm (especially keeping your breath up near your face) - - perhaps as a liner under a real hat (like a cowboy hat or a safari hat)... but it is not at all what I was hoping it would be, and not at all what I want. I did find a FLEECE Balaclava mask from a different seller, and it IS what I was looking for. Search for the seller Joyoldelf.

Bought another one I liked it so much
Bought this back in 2016. Was very happy with it. So much so that I am ordering another since I lost the first one. I have a small head(I wear junior size helmets), and this fits even me. Trust me, a lot of one-size fits-all stuff does not, but this is great

Works great
I wear glasses and every balaclava that I used in the past made my glasses steam up. This 1 does not and it keeps you warm. Good buy

This balaclava is comfortable to wear, adds warmth, but can fit inside the hood of a jacket.
I like the fact that the balaclava is thin enough to fit inside of my parka's collar and hood. It easily adjusts between allowing the full face to emerge or covering the lower half of the face (in extreme cold).
