I've used Konjac sponges from various companies and retail sources for about 8 years. This charcoal one was the first that wore out in only one month. It started shredding and had to go in the trash. Others with proper care (cold rinse/hang to dry) have lasted at least three months, more often 5 or 6 months with no odor or shredding. Will see how the rest of the set of four perform, and update or remove this review if better.

Does a good job cleaning without feeling scrubbed. However they fall apart or mildew after 2-3 weeks.

I have combination, acne-prone (but not sensitive) skin, and this was just the level of exfoliation I was looking for. More than cellulose sponge or terry cloth, but a tad less scratchy than the Buff Puff or most natural sea sponges. I also love the teardrop shape for precision, and each sponge seems to last me about two months before it starts losing shape.I can't tell any difference between the aloe and charcoal types-- not in feel during use or effect on my skin. But ultimately I'm looking for physical exfoliation from a sponge instead of fleeting infusions, so I don't really care.My main complaint is how long it takes to soften enough for use. It's not like other sponge types where it's just better to use after moistening, no, it's actually hard as a rock without water. So I have to run it under the faucet for a little more than a minute before it's usable, tapping my foot the whole time. But to date, I haven't found a better facial sponge.

Soft and scrubs well. Hang to dry. Lasting.

These sponges are vey soft and gentle and are a great alternative to using a washcloth. They provide gentle exfoliation and are easier than using your hands and splashing water all over the place. Great teardrop shape makes it easy to wash all areas of your face. Hubby and I each use one.

I have been watching reviews online by beauty influencers and Dermatologists that are on YouTube or other websites. Most of these people complain about the texture of these types of Konjac sponges. I saw this brand and I took the chance of buying a set. I was amazed at how they worked. I followed the instructions and they are the BEST sponges ever. I will never take someone else's negative so-called review ever again. Previously, I would use the EcoTools cellulose sponges that I will never buy again since they tear apart easily.These sponges are very soft and do the job with whatever cleanser you use whether its a high end or drugstore or even just plain soap. I love that they have the little string attached to them for hanging in the shower. I will be a constant customer of this company and I THANK them for their creation of these exceptional sponges that I have made part of my daily cleansing routine.
