Purchased for sons catapult. He said they are good but stronger than before .Researched later and found out the different colours equate to different power in the bands. These ones were grey and before he had the yellow that didn't seem to last very long.

These Barnett bands were bought to replace the original bands on a catapult that was purchased in 2016. They appeared to be far superior to the originals but appearances can be deceptive.Although the instructions said they may be difficult to install, I found it quite easy using some alcohol as suggested. Instructions state to leave the bands to dry for at least 1 hour so any alcohol used to push them onto the arms can evaporate.Fitted bands last night and left to dry. Was looking forward to test and compare to the originals.Grabbed a few 6mm carbon steel ball bearings that were purchased specifically for use as ammo and after 3 shots the band partially snapped on one side.While they lasted they did seem to be much stronger.Seriously unimpressed, Lifespan of less than 1 minute!Requesting refund. The original catapult with bands that lasted for 6 years and cost less than this replacement band is a far better option.

Replacement rubbers were easy to fit securely and slightly softer than originals making it far easier to draw back and maintain accuracy

Impossible to slide the rubber over the arms. Tried water, rubbing alcohol. Must need to have hands that can grip like a plumber without tools in a flooding kitchen !?
