My favourite out of the many I've tried
I have tried quite a few pumps in the last 11 weeks but this one has been my favourite by far. Easy to put together, simple to clean and a great size. The pump itself is nice and quiet too so I can get away with pumping quietly as baby sleeps. I do tend to massage/compress as I pump to get more out of each session but I find that this pump works quite efficiently on its own too.

Very good
Long story short, this is my opinion, and I don't normally bother to write one, after 4 weeks of frustrations, thought that I'm not capable of more milk for my baby, that nothing works for me (no pump, supplement, food, tea, method etc ) and of course misinformation from professionals and online info in first place. Basically my baby doesn't latch properly (and believe me I've tried EVERYTHING) and also falls asleep quickly while at my breast, so doesn't suck the milk properly, so my breast is not stimulated enough to produce the right amount of milk for my baby. AGONY because I want her to have the best and breast milk is the one. Of course I used formula to top up because of the above problem. From what I read online, many women have the same problem so that's why I'm writing my experience, maybe it will help.To save time, energy, even money, this is what works to produce more milk:- use this manual pump. Or any other, but this one I tried and works very well; that's why I said "even save money" because a manual pump is actually enough. If you find it's weak, that's only because the handle isn't assembled properly, I've done this mistake myself. After proper way, the suction is actually strong and you don't need more than that as it becomes painful. Prior to this pump I've spent money on very expensive electric pumps from the same brand and nothing helped me to get more than 80-100ml from both breasts, with lots of water and supplements included. I also rented the hospital grade from Medela, I sent it back after a few days. The pump is super convenient, very easy to use, to wash and does a very quick and efficient job, can use it anywhere, anytime as a long as you have some privacy! Honestly, I get more milk and faster with this pump than an electric one! No need for bra to keep it on the breast or charging, etc.- while using the pump, here comes actually the most IMPORTANT PART, the one that is vital to produce more milk but noone actually tells you about it! No midwife, no professionals or online articles. Everybody says pump, pump and pump as often as possible for like 15-20 min, BUT that's just not it!!! What you need to do is express the milk with your own hands, also called COMPRESSING the breast. This is the second best way, after baby sucking, to get the milk out of the breasts! No pump, no matter what kind, has the same efficiency as your hands to express the milk! And if you don't empty the breasts as much as possible, they won't produce much milk. So manual pumping with one hand + compressing the breast same time with the other hand, it will give you the best results!- in parallel with the above, hydration, healthy food, supplements, teas, etc will do the very best. The results are almost immediate because a breast that gets emptied as much as possible will try cope with the demand and produce more milk.

One of the best breast pumps out there!
This breast pump has been a lifesaver, both in the early post-birth days and 1 year later. When my milk first came in after birth, I was extremely engorged and struggled a lot with the pain. By using this pump, I was able to effectively express milk to relieve discomfort. Now at almost 1 year post-partum, I use this pump to express milk at work so that my baby can still have breastmilk while I am not there. This pump works so much better than a lot of electric pumps I have used! Would 100% recommend. I believe it is an essential to all mums who wish to breastfeed.

Faulty after 2 days
The handle and diaphragm are not functioning properly, which significantly affects the suction. As a result, the pump is not expressing milk effectively and has become quite frustrating to use.Every single time I try to use I’m always adjusting the diaphragm so it could work properly and after few minutes it turns over again.

Good bit of kit with a few issues
I bought this a week after my son was born. He stayed in a SCBU and I was recommended to pump to increase my supply. Baby had been on formula and I needed to increase my output to match what he was used to.I vastly prefer this over an electric pump. I can go at my own pace as I found the electric pump was really painful especially at the beginning when I had a lot of scabs and bleeding from beginning breastfeeding. Now my son is at five months and I’m using this to pump a small supply for one feed a day and to use in baby food for weaning.I did have to buy a new flange as the standard was not the correct fit for me. You do have to watch posture/how the pump is positioned to get a good seal and occasionally the pump mechanism needs to be taken off and reattached to form the vacuum. I would also recommend having a good set of bottle brushes, especially one with a fine brush to fit into all the little holes if you want to thoroughly clean inside the parts. As I only use this pump some of the time and breastfeed the rest I cannot say how effective this would be for exclusive pumping.

Very pleased
Life changing item for me, I was using the electric mom cozy breast pumps but I wasn’t happy with it so I’ve decided to try this one.. I just wish I did prior to buying the other ones.. please do give it a try and you’ll be very pleased. It is very easy to wash and assemble every time, quick to extract the milk and comfortable on the breast and nipple.

Go for a small simple electric one instead
Good quality and works, but I only used twice, I can express the same as what this does just doing it myself - this pump is more work. It's only good for getting little bits of milk, it's too tiring for more than 5 minutes. You'd need at least 10-15 minutes for a good bit of milk. In the end I got an electric pump, just one has been enough, and can express in 10-15 minutes, hands free, easy, no stress. So go for the electric. Just a small one, and no need to be expensive.

Must have for breastfeeding mums
Must have for any breastfeeding mum. As I’ve got electric pumps already I use this mainly just to express that little bit to ease engorgement and it works 100% well. Love the little bottle it comes with, super handy for expressing and containing milk.
