These are super adorable, which, to be honest was my priority when buying. However, upon opening them, I thought the handle looked a little dirty and the design on the blade had some marks. The handle almost looks old, like whenever grime builds up a little over time? It's also not the smoothest cut. Overall, I'll keep them since they do their job, but I am bummed by the appearance and the roughness of the blade.

I love these scissors so much. They are very sharp and I love the color and the grid design on the blade. Just beware that the design might peel off a tiny bit. But that just might be because I was cutting some things that I probably shouldn't have been cutting ( like wires and thick things like that).

Super cute. Work great. Would buy again.

Normally I am usually try to grab a Yoobi item because of their philanthropic nature.These scissors don’t quite cut it – figuratively and literally speaking.They’re designed for right and left hand use, and have a “comfort” grip inside the “handle”.But, the hole for the thumbs can be a bit small (if not awkward) for some people, and the “finger” hole is too small for me. I was only able to get three fingers in there awkwardly.They’re a bit clumsy due to the weight, so using them for an extended period is out of the idea.As far as cutting? Not that great. Sad to say. They are not very sharp, in addition the hinge is tight. They did not cut well with electrical tape (that is to be expected). Packaging tape was difficult, and paper was a bit rough. It may have just been this pair or it could be the design.They’re more for teens than adults or adults with small fingers.

I was a little disappointed when I got these and I have quite a few products by Yoobi all of which I love and use on a regular. The issue I had with this is first the packaging wasnt good it was like this was already opened before I recieved it, it looked a little beat up and first and the actual use of the scissors are not smooth at all. Its hard for me to even put together a review for this because I love the concept of this brand its so conhesive across everything they have when it comes to print and design I have not been disappointed thus far so I def need to include that in this I have been very happy with their other products its just this one thou it seems like they are nicely made and again the design matches everything I already have to a "T" this was not what I was expecting and that is where the disappointment comes from. I am going to continue to use these in hopes that maybe them being new thats where the stiffness comes from of the blades but its not comfortable to me especially already having problems with my hands.

I would give this a low four star because I find this pair of scissors very uncomfortable. Having said that though, my son would give this a high five because they fit his hand perfectly and he likes using them. They hurt my outside of my thumb.I'm am going to put these by my desk and they will be good for quick cutting- snip a thread, whatever but they will not be good for me for extended use. My thumb hurt after cutting out three or four designs on a piece of paper. Or if my son wants them he can have them.When I first saw them I thought 'oh look, a grid on the side of the scissors that will be helpful beats having to get up and get a ruler.' However, if I had put more thought into it I would have realized the grid on the blades doesn't really help you cut straight it just helps you if you know where you want to stop cutting. For the work I do, I still have to get up and get a ruler.These are sharp. They open and close easily and cut thick, glossy paper easily.Something to be aware of- these do not open all the way flat so if you wanted to cut tape on the box you can't do that. Doesn't bother me but my husband noticed that right away.I do love the color though. They are perky and cute.I also like their philanthropic donations of one for one- each one you buy they donate one to classroom in need in the United States.
