Not the easiest install, but works
I installed this switch on one of our movie chairs. The button mechanism was what I replaced. The chord was not the same connectors or length that the chord installed on the chair. So I had to disconnect the cable that came with the new mechanism and reattach the chord that came on the chair in order for it to work properly.
