The media could not be loaded.  I needed a light for my son for virtual classes It has lighting color and intensity dials on top. The power button on the back needs to be held for about 2 seconds to power on/off. It has a USB power cable which I plugged into my son's 27" Dell monitor (shown in video). The compact telescopic tripod provides quite a bit of height adjustment as you can see. 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a great light for the price. I needed additional lighting to make my Zoom and other video appearances look more professional. I was especially impressed with all the features and how flexible everything is. Comes with a hot shoe mount to attach to a GoPro or other camera, and additional lights can easily be added to the side mounts on the light. The telescoping stick is very solid and flexible as well. I look forward to using this for several different applications and will probably buy at least 1 more. I do agree with other reviewers that the tripod could be more stable. 5 stars for the overall value!!

This is cheap, but it's a functional cheap.The stand is a little "eh"; it's light-weight and cheap feeling, and getting everything positioned can be a hassle with limited desk space, but otherwise, it just plain works. I combine this with a budget ring light to illuminate my face on streaming, and it works just fine.If you just need a little extra lighting for your webcam, this will work. No need to spend a bunch of money on anything else, or cobble together something hacked up from Home Depot/Lowes/Menards/Ace. The dimmer/color temperature controls here make this more useful than that sort of setup. I wouldn't recommend relying on just this one light if you want to illuminate your face in a dark room, but that's the way it goes for just about any light; you'll want at least 2 (secondary being a ring light).

I like the fact that it comes with an adjustable tripod that allows you to adjust the height of the light and provides much more flexibility in positioning the light. The cheaper ones that simply attach to the back of your laptop or tablet only permit a direct on lighting which may be harsh even if light is turned down. Again the tripod provides the capability to illuminate from the side and significant height above your face for a more pleasing shadow free look. Another reason I purchased this unit was that it was one of the few, while more expensive, has a built in battery which means that you do not have to plug a USB dongle into the wall and also compatible with a iPad since an iPad dose not have a USB input. The run time is also excellent. It lasted over 2 hours on a recent Zoom call.

The kit arrived sooner than I expected. The packaging is first rate. It comes in a very nice zippered case that keeps the pieces tidy and safe. It's extremely portable and the tripod top is flexible which enables you to customize where the illumination is centered. The color temperature runs from warm to cool and the dimmer control allows you to adjust for how much light you need.I highly recommend this unit.

I purchased it for use as a video-conference light for my desk setup, and so will not be using much of what is included in the kit, but was impressed by the design of the other components and how much was included for the price. The tripod can double as a selfie-stick, as the tripod "feet" apparatus screws into the bottom of the selfie stick "handle." The rod itself is both sturdy and lightweight, and is solidly built for this price range, including the angle adjustment affixed to the top. In addition all these components are packed in a nice included hard-shell zipper case, which would be great if I were going to carry it around.The light itself again seems solidly built for this price range, and is VERY bright. I have thus far found it to be just right for webcam illumination at its lowest light setting. The warm/cool adjustability is quite nice as well, and truly goes from very warm to very cool light. The screw adapter is also nice, and includes a cold-shoe mount (though I don't use such things). My only complaint with the light is that my personal preference would be if the continuous color / brightness wheels had detents at 1/4 turn intervals so you don't have to fine-tune each time, or had buttons that switched between discreet levels. The space where I usually set up my Zoom or other video conference calls has good side-lighting but that is not the best for video. I needed a way to get more light (and the right level and color of light) directly behind the camera and onto my face. This lighting kit does just that.The adjustable height allows me to place the stand behind my screen and raise the light above it for perfect lighting on my face. The light is softer than I expected (a good thing) and the color and intensity adjustments allow me to tailor it to whatever the needs are at the time of day I am on Zoom. The side lighting from my windows changes during the day so the amount of light I need varies as well. The light output can be very bright but I usually use it at a lower setting.The controls (at the top of the light module) are easily reached when in use.A bonus is the semi-hard case that it all fits in.
