Can you use this controller by itself with your pc or do you need to buy the steam link unit as well?

If you're using a PC, then you do not need the steam link. The Steam link is used for connecting your steam library and all of the other aspects of steam to a tv, so that you can play it from a couch.

Does it come with a wireless dongle/adapter to connect it wirelessly to my pc?

It does come with a wireless adapter. Furthermore, after the firmware update, you can also connect it to your PC through Bluetooth if your PC has it too (not requiring the dongle that way).

Is this controller compatible with Windows computer?

Yes. It's compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Does the comes with the same preorder bonus of Portal 2 or Rocket League?

Did preorder but for some reason Amazon shipped until yesterday 11/15th and I got Portal2 code, but I already owned that game, I wanted Rocked League :(
