... brand new Ludwig Accent 5 piece and I'd almost like to say that this 10" $13
I added this to my brand new Ludwig Accent 5 piece and I'd almost like to say that this 10" $13.99 Splash sounds better than the cymbals that came with the set. Perhaps I should re-phrase that. The overall Quality, sound and sustain is superior to the stock cymbals that came with my set. I am extremely pleased with this 10" Splash and would certainly recommend it! How could you go wrong with that price!!! They have an 8" from a Junior set and I am thinking of purchasing that one also for a different sound. I'm hoping it sounds like a Bell!!!The 10" is the small one...LolYou may be able to see the quality difference as well in these pictures...

Steel, not “copper alloy”
I used this to make a “roof” for a nice set of wind chimes. I silver brazed some brass fittings to it from which to hang the chimes, and a hook on top from which to hang the whole thing. The problem came with the brazing heat. Whatever the coating is blistered off. When I wire-brushed the coating off, it revealed a shiny silver base metal. Pretty sure it’s steel. It brazed well, like I would expect steel to braze. But I was counting on a copper or bronze patina as the cymbal aged, which would have looked perfect with the chimes. Since it’s actually steel, I had to prime and paint it. It still turned out ok, I’m just disappointed it doesn’t appear to be a “copper alloy” (I assumed bronze, but brass would’ve been fine too) as advertised.Since I’m not using it for its intended purpose and it’s inexpensive, I’m only docking it 1 star.

Garbage can lid
No matter how hard I tried to get this so called “cymbal” to sound like a proper splash cymbal, there was nothing that would work. A splash cymbal should have a crisp crash with very little sustain. This thing rang out like a cheap coffee tin lid. I returned it and opted to spend more money for a name brand splash cymbal. Do not waste your money.

Not 10”.
I bought this to pair up with another 10” splash to use as hi hats with a compact kit I have. It’s not a true 10”. More like 9.5. This will not work for what I intended. You can see the difference in the pic.

Pretty cool splash with a China vibe
I was very skeptical when purchasing this cymbal, and even more so when it arrived. However, i actually really like the sound of this--it has almost a splash/china kinda vibe to it and perfect for accents on certain parts. I bought a meinl splash with this and I like this one way better. 5/5 would recommend

Big sounds out of a small package
Crisp louder than life little splash symbol with a unique sound. Pretty durable so far, have had it for 6 months and it’s still going strong.
