I like percale sheets. I love the crisp feel and the cool breathing that they give. I hate getting too hot under the covers. If you aren't familiar with them, percale sheets are crisp, lighter than sateen sheets. They are soft with a matte finish. The fabric breathes well and is cool during the hot summer months, but it can also feel less smooth than sateen.Neither weave is better than the other, but you may prefer one of them against your skin.These are excellent percale sheets. They are 100% cotton, so you will need to iron them if you want them smooth and flat, or put them on straight out of the dryer. You will also need to stretch them tight to keep the wrinkles out.Polyester does not breathe nearly as well as cotton, so I much prefer these to polyester.My daughter has a Queen size bed in her room so these are for her. They are easy to put on the bed, fit well and feel great. My daughter sleeps hot and often throws the sheets off of her in the middle of the night. Now I know why even the negative reviews of these sheets are still kinda positive. These are everything a sheet geek like me is looking for in a cool, crisp sheet.Rather than repeat other reviews’ praises, I’ll only note to the discerning buyer that there are 2 types of ‘crisp’ sheet: winter-crisp (heavier, and more solid feeling) and summer-crisp (much lighter, and ideally a bit softer).These summer-crisp sheets are remarkable because crispness usually sacrifices softness until the sheets have been washed a few times. Wash these once and you’re good to go; for max softness, let warm water at least half-fill your empty washer drum, stir in 1-cup baking soda and then ½ cup vinegar, then toss in the sheets and wash normal cycle, without detergent.

It isn't easy finding percale sheets these days, and especially percale sheets that are ethically made and don't cost a fortune. I took a chance on Sleep Mantra, and I will never go back. They are crisp and cool, everything a good percale sheet should be. Yes, they wrinkle. So what? That's what percale does. These days, there are so many odd and unsatisfactory choices for sheets--synthetic fabrics and ridiculously high thread counts--that I had despaired of finding good percale again. I'm delighted to find this company and these great sheets.

My husband loves crisp sheets. I love soft ones. We just LOVE these sheets because they satisfy both of us. They are literally so crisp that they crackle. They stay smooth and cool all night long. They are so smooth that we can make the bed in half the time because they glide over the other bedding. They wash like a dream and dry fast. The quality is excellent, and the size is quite generous. They come shipped in a nice cloth bag that is quite useful for other things. We've ordered another set. Highly recommended.

I have been looking for a quality set of percale sheets for a while now. My husband is a hot sleeper, so we are in need of cool, crisp sheets. I did a lot of research and decided to try these Sleep Mantra sheets. My first red flag was that I received sheets that were not Sleep Mantra brand. They came in completely different packaging with a generic title of "Luxury Cotton Sheets," no brand listed on the packaging. I contacted the sellers and they told me that the sheets were still the Sleep Mantra brand I paid for and that I should give them a try. My husband and I slept on these sheets for about a month. The sheets pill very badly and feel cheap. They are not at all like percale. They also kept slipping off the corner of my husband's side of the bed, so he would often wake up sleeping on a bare mattress. I put up with this for a while simply because I didn't have time, energy, or money to devote to researching and purchasing another set. The tipping point for me came today when I was making the bed and the fitted sheet ripped as I was readjusting it back over the corner of the mattress. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT waste money on these sheets. They are a complete scam.Update: I added a star to my review because I contacted the seller and they issued me a full refund. The customer service has been very helpful.

I ordered the white sheets which came tightly packed in a soft bag. I washed them right away as they were wrinkled but I started using them and love the light and airy feel of the sheets. They keep me cool at night and do not give off heat like a lot of the other sheets that I have used in the past. I like the crisp feel of these sheets which to me feels like they stay fresh for longer compare to other organic cotton sheets I have previously used. The delivery was super fast as well, only took two days to receive them after placing the order online.

These are the perfect cotton sheets - crisp and cool, perfect feel and texture. Sleeping on these linens is wonderful, and I highly recommend these sheets to anyone who loves a good night's sleep on lovely bedding. This was money well spent.

My previous fitted sheets were a struggle to put on the bed. These washed well and were easy to put on the bed. They fit well!!

Great sheets, soft and comfortable…cool in the summer heat.The only problem is that I only got one pillowcase and don’t know who to contact to get the other one.
