I loved these clogs so much I returned them the next day before I become attached. They are simply gorgeous. The only—ONLY— thing I didn’t dig were that they had no sling back. But the fit was so phenomenal it didn’t need it. I don’t walk in them I use a wheelchair and boy did these look super cool. I tried the black and navy but would love the FUDGE. If only I had saved my two black and deep brown woven sling backs from the 80-90’s era…. I’d been stylin. Damn.I just wish I could afford a pair.

I ordered two pairs because after reading reviews I felt like I ordered the wrong size. ..I wear a 8 1/2 med. width. I ordered the 40 and then the 39. The 39 fit great so unless you have a wide foot stay true to your size. I just loved that they are made my hand with such care and quality. I wore clogs back in the day but even tho I’m in my sixties, they are a blast to wear. I was surprised at how quickly I got used to them. My feet feel supported and stable. I’m already thinking of another color to order!

This is a great clog! Cute on the foot and most comfortable! The color is a beautiful chocolate brown.

These shoes live up to their outstanding reputation. Beautifully made and they fit great (follow their instructions for size).

These are great clogs, well made, thick leather. I wear clogs and mules 75% of the time and will likely purchase another pair because they fit so well. Gave these 4 out of 5 stars because I had to put a coat of clear polyurethane on wood base and a bit of Saphir clear leather conditioner on the uppers in order to prep them for better long term wear. Hasbeens and Sven clogs come with coated base and conditioned upper as mentioned above but, in my opinion, the fit is not as good as the Sandgrens (Hasbeens are Very narrow and Svens are a bit wide). One final comment, these take a week or two to break in as the leather is so thick. After break in period, these clogs are very comfortable and light weight due to the wood base. I wear an 8 1/2 and ordered a Sangrens size 40.

I have worn Danskos for years (and still like them, especially for wet/snowy weather), but really wanted a pair of authentic wooden-soled clogs. Did a lot of research on fit, comfort, construction and styling, and all kept pointing me to Sandgrens. A bit expensive, but quality and company ethic was important to me. Measured my feet according to Sandgrens' video on Vimeo, and chose my size according to their chart. My usual shoe size is 8.5-9 US/M width, foot length of 25cm. Per their chart, I chose EU size 39 (which they list as 8-8.5?) - the same EU size I typically wear in Dansko and other European shoes, and they fit perfectly. Very slightly snug at first with socks, but they definitely relax with just a few hours wearing around the house. Without socks, fit is also great, maybe slightly more generous. Found them to be incredibly comfortable, with and without socks - much more than expected. The nude color was more of a light tan than some of the flesh-pink-ish photos I saw, but is exactly what I wanted. The smooth carved wood and finishing is flawless, the leather is very natural (subtle texture and tiny markings); they look genuinely handmade vs. highly processed & glazed leather and faux-wooden soles. Absolutely love them, and hope to add another pair/different style in the coming months.

I like the style of these clogs and I like wooden clogs. They are going to be great for winter use as I will need thick socks to keep they from sliding off my feet. The length is true to size, nut if you have really narrow feet this would not be a good pick for you.

Returned these as they came up really small, I’m always a 38 in clogs but would need a 39 in this brand. I won’t be reordering though as I cannot for the life of me see how these are worth the £135 (with a discount) that they cost. I appreciate that handmade items have individual marks etc but both the nubuck and the wooden base on both clogs was stained which is unacceptable at this price point. They were very lightweight but I honestly didn’t think they were any better than my Lotta from Stockholm clogs which cost less than a third of the price of these.

Comfortable & perfect fit

I wore these back in high school in the 70’s! So excited to find they’re still being madeWill take some time to soften up. May have to get them professionally stretchedI just know I will wear these for years to comeJust have patience in breaking them inUpdate….shoemakers can’t do anything to soften them up. So these at this stage are useless….I’m going to see if I can return them
