Best "bite" I have found
Using these to screw down underlayment onto 1" heartpine for hand plastered walls. I have tried every shortyscrew out there and these have the best "bite" of any Iused, the only ones that will pull themselves in flatwithout countersink.Only downside is they aren't for exterior use, but thatdoesn't apply to what I'm doing. I bought 3 boxes.Have been through a few dozen boxes of others,these rule.

Great value.
For the price, these screws are Great. My complaint is that the metal quality is a little soft. The drill bit that comes with the package tends to stick inside the head of the screw and chew up the screw slightly.
