Q: Tried this on small suncatcher and it worked great to turn it black but the finish is really dull. Is this normal? How do you fix that?

It will produce a dull finish as is, to get it shiny, we use liquid glass wax that we sell on Amazon also - Clarity Stained Glass Finishing Compound - 12oz. This wax polishes the metal and glass also. Regards, Rainbow

This is a great product! Turns lead or solder to the same dark color that occurs naturally over time. Premixed and ready to use. Apply the patina to the solder seams or lead surface using a cotton ball, Q-tip, or gauze. Let it dry for a few minutes, rinse the entire piece with warm water, then pat dry.
