DolphinEscape Robotic Pool Cleaner (2025 Model) — Massive Top-Loading Filter, Dual Motors, HyperBrush, HyperGrip Tracks, Smart Navigation — for Above Ground & In-Ground Pools up to 33ft

I have a 24' round above ground pool that I hand vacuumed for the last 20 years. I decided to treat myself to a robotic vacuum, even though I was apprehensive about the effectiveness of any unit. This Dolphin M600 is truly amazing. Powerful, and actually climbs and cleans the vertical sides of the pool. Cleaning cycle for my pool takes about 1.5 hours, and the robot did not miss a speck of dirt. Since there are no pool hoses, it is easy to set up and start and easy to put away. Filter basket easy to remove and clean with garden hose or in a utility sink with a hand sprayer. I originally thought it was a little pricey, but I am convinced it is absolutely worth every penny of the price. I am guessing late summer when the tree leaves start to fall, it is probably going to be a good idea to scoop up a lot of the leaves as it would likely fill or plug up rapidly. Other than that small issue, I am 100% happy with my purchase.

I can’t brag enough on this Dolphin. This machine is amazing at cleaning my entire pool bottom and super easy to use and clean out. I LOVE the extra large filter that even catches sand! The ease of use, just drop it in the pool and turn it on. It’s super easy to clean the extra large filter. Everything about this model is user friendly. Plug it in and let it go!I love that Dolphin has various levels of these machines. This one is perfect for me but I’d suggest any dolphin machine. Find the one that suits your needs and go for it!! I truly believe you won’t be sorry.

I have a cheap Walmart above ground pool with lots of wrinkles and a ton of leaves, I tried several other cheaper options and none worked, this absolutely crushed the job, clean as can be and the basket was stacked with leaves. Worked flawlessly.

This is a piece of junk! It might pick up a few leaves or other debris but the mesh is so small and the surface area as well that it clogs up and won't pick up anything else. It does not map out the pool. It travels the same area over and over and doesn't even get that clean. I bought this at the end of the season in '23, because our beloved "Pool Rover" bit the dust, and only used it once to finish up what the Rover left. I didn't open the pool last year and only now that I am trying to use it regularly do I realize how bad this is. The return window has long been closed. I see it isn't even sold here anymore (I wonder why) but I know people can find these reviews in searches so here it is. Don't buy this!

I had the impression from reading the description that it would still climb the pool walls but when I got it, the instructions specifically said it did not climb the walls as it was made for above ground pools. So a little bit of a bummer on that, but maybe that was my bad. Otherwise it works amazing, waaaay better than other robots I have used. This is the best one so far! Its also the most expensive one I have yet purchased. It has great suction and the brush really helps. It does act like it is going to climb the wall but then stops and goes back. Great cord design, it doesn't get in the way at all. It picks up dirt and debris really well, and you do need to make sure to clean it out after every use. It doesn't pick up the find dirt particles. Apparently you need a different filter for that. I found this out after getting it there is a pamphlet that talks about how they recommend purchasing the fine filter and using that for regular cleaning and the one that comes with it for initial cleaning to pick up larger debris. Another thing I was confused on was I thought this one could be controlled from an app but it does not. To confess I was reading looking at several models of these so I may have gotten confused as to what this one did and didn't do. Because all of this was not clear on the product description, at least not for me, I have knocked a star off from the overall rating.

I had an Aquabot Breeze XLS and the power supply went out. So I decided to try something different and order this Dolphin.... oh my goodness! The difference it makes is amazing! The Aquabot is a lot messier to use and doesn't pick up nearly the debris that this Dolphin does! Plus the Aquabot has 2 baskets and they don't go in to the cleaner part smoothly and you have to put cloth bags inside the baskets in hopes that it will pick the fine debris up... but it doesn't and what it does pick up pretty much comes out when you lift it out of the water. NOT so with the DOLPHIN... it picks up the finest particles just using the basket that came with it and when you lift it out of the water nothing goes back into the water but water! YAY! And, clean up is SUPER easy! The basket fits perfectly and has a spring loaded handle so when you put the basket in the cleaner and close the top, it automatically goes down and the top shuts nice and tight! Then when you open the top of the cleaner, the handle springs up and when you remove the basket, everything stays in the basket. Clean up of the basket is easy... there is a latch on the side that opens the bottom so all the debris falls out and then you just rinse the sides and bottom off... the sides also come off if there's lots of debris you need to rinse off. I have not used the fine particle basket yet as there has been no need! The Dolphin keeps my pool cleaner than it's ever been! The only negative I have is the cord could be a little bit longer. My pool is 33 ft round - we have a room off the deck where the plug is located and it's not near the ground but a little over halfway up the wall so when I plug the power supply in and attach it to the cord, the cord isn't quite long enough to reach to the other side of the pool. That's the only issue. Overall, I love this pool cleaner for ease of use and clean up and the fact it gets all the debris up! The only other negative I have is about the manufacturer who will not answer emails no matter how many I send. I am trying to find out if there is a caddy I can get for this model so I don't have to turn it upside down after every use (I guess that's so the tracks and brush hold their shape.
