I had Panasonic previously and decided to get newest version - good as can be, high quality like typical brand items.

very easy, quick cut and looks good. it is best for biginer of cut hair in home.

I like this type of Panasonic beard trimmer because of the adjustable dial hair length selector. I've tried other brands and they all seem to come with hair guards of different lengths. I find this cumbersome to always have to change them and that they often don't stay on or give you a consistent shave length.The only downside to this trimmer is no replaceable battery. The rechargeable battery is hardwired in and when it goes you pretty much have to throw out the trimmer and get a new one. I had a similar Panasonic trimmer before this but after about 5 years the battery stopped holding a charge. I only shave once a week or so, so it didn't have too much use on it. The blade was still fairly sharp. Still, had to get a completely new trimmer because the battery is hardwired in, and getting at it is very laborious even if you feel comfortable soldering to change it. Plus the cost of a battery and new blade is pretty much the cost of a new trimmer, so you're better off just buying a new one at that point.

I do not even recall any product in this category to be so bad. It cuts unevenly leaving sporadic long hair after numerous passes. It just does not get its job done.Also, the manual states that if charging the clipper once per month, its battery life is three years. Someone at Panasonic is just insane. Are you saying that the battery has 36 recharge cycles? Really?Bottom line: unacceptable. Looks like it is going directly to trash.

These are ok... They dont really stay sharp and they dont cut thick hair well.

I typically have to buy new clippers at least once a year. They either just die and don't charge any longer, or they just don't cut my hair well. These clippers are amazing and extremely sharp. Sharp enough that I do not have to keep going over the same area 5 times to get the hair cut to an even length. Some clippers don't always stay at the setting you start out with and can slip a notch down and then you have to cut it all again or look like odd with 2 lengths of hair. These do not slip at all. I do like the fact that you can use them with the cord or without the cord. And I like that there is no large recharging base that takes up a lot of space.
