No, mine was not waterproof at all. The sealant or whatever it is on this fabric stuck together and as i unfolded it out of the package that sealant or lining immediately started getting little pinholes or cracks in it and never worked as a waterproof cover. This only works as a way to keep something clean but i don't recommend it at all for weather protection

Could be. Under my cover is a 3 person and 2 person wicker couches, a large coffee table and 2 end tables. Still have a little room for chairs

Yes, of course, just rinse with water pipes, and then dry with a dry towel.
