First time trying 2% lugols iodine solution. Started with 2 drops (25mg). Second day I've taken it. I'm feeling much more energetic and focused and started feeling results the first day,and more the second day. Product came well packaged and arrived at stated time. Great price.

Within the first few days of taking this, I felt an immediate increase in energy. By the time I had been taking it for a month straight, my hormonal cycle started regulating and symptoms around it lessened dramatically. Less bloating, less cramping, less mental angst and emotional swings. For the first time in years, the length of days in between my period lengthened and my actual period length shortened. I tried increasing from two 3-drop doses a day, and was able to increase to two 8-drop doses a day over the course of three months...slow and steady wins the race as it simultaneously detoxes as it regulates.Because I love a good trial and error, I discontinued taking this for a month to see what would happen. Never again. My period came 4 days early and lasted two days longer than when I was consistently taking this.The taste isn't phenomenal, but it is well worth the benefits. I just try to put the drops as far back on my tongue as possible and quickly chase it with water. This product is inexpensive and works great

Its nice to have usda organic iodine available and I love this product.It says the serving size is 3 drops though and that is 3000 mcg. That's supposedly waaaaay too much.Consumer, do some searches as to what are safe levels of iodine to consume.Even 1,000 mcg is supposedly too much (that's one drop).Your thyroid absorbs iodine and your body uses iodine, so it's important that you don't over dose this.According to a site online, we should be consuming about 120 mcg per day.This is for adults in my age range (45).The dosage varies based on how old you are, your gender, etc.Fortunately, I'm alright as far as I know, but I am only putting a drop in about 8 oz of water, drinking just a little and pouring the rest out (you can pour in garden).Sometimes I add 3 drops or so to water some of my herbs and veggies with; plants can absorb the iodine and you can consume the iodine by eating the herbs and veggies that you've watered with it.Just be careful on your dosage. 1,000/3,000 mcg is a lot.
