Although this was a brilliant product which I cannot faultThis item sent to me from Amazon sadly has now gone back to Ring direct as it would not charge even when wired so they replaced it with new one direct from them for free which I am sure the seller would have done the same but at the time I was onto Ring trying to trouble shoot when they connected they found the fault with the door bell …The seller is excellent just the doorbell would not hold charge one off faulty item

I’m really happy with my purchase.We opted for the battery operated as we didn’t want to mess around with wiring and up to now, we’ve had no issues.The motion sensor is spot on and I like how we can set different greeting messages. We currently have a Halloween themed one, so fun!We also plan on buying the battery operated cameras for additional security, but already feel safer knowing that we have a camera on the front door and gate!Highly recommend and wish we’d got one sooner!!

I ordered this doorbell as we have had a few instances lately where items have been recorded as delivered but alas, have not. Needed something which could verify this. Easy to install if you have basic DIY skills - I just removed the current doorbell, drilled 4 holes and replaced it with the “Ring”, connecting the wires the same as the old and fingers crossed, it worked. Installed the “Ring” app on my phone and then just had a play around to figure out how it all works - you can adjust different settings i.e. detection area, sensitivity, what notifications you want etc. as well as viewing live feed from the camera on your phone. All of a sudden it has become riveting watching what is going on outside our front door (pretty sure this will wear off after a while). Great doorbell and think it was money well spent.

This product is very handy as it allows you to see who is at your front door regardless of whether you are actually in the house or not. I also like the fact that if you are unable to get to the door to answer you can speak to the person through the audio intercom. The only down side to this product is it that unless you have your phone with you at all times you would not know if there is someone at your door as there is no inside chimer included with it, this is another item which has to be purchased separately.

Had to get nephew to install it as it needed drilling into the wall. He set it up also as I would of been lost. I have conifers which move in wind and they set off my security light constant but with this you can block them off with the motion radius. Clear sound and picture. Mine is a busy front door so alert is constant even with that the battery is at 74% after 3 weeks so that is great. Disappointed that Amazon did not have the solar charge panel anymore and does not know if they coming back. I really would of purchased this all I’m disabled and not able to unscrew to re charge device. Great price on prime day. Too expensive if not on prime day.

Great Camera for catching the delivery man. I have hardwired mine so never have to worry about charging the battery. I could see that being a bit of a hassle especially if you do use the security screws a recommend. Remember is only free for 31 days, after that you have to pay a subscription to use any of the features except live view and standard doorbell. with that in mind I would still recommend it for those who are in the fence.

Installing the product was very fiddly, especially the wired connections on the back bell push / camera, and setting up the app was also time consuming, especially getting both the chime module and the bell push / camera to connect to the Wi-Fi. But once set up it works very well.

Very impressive this technology. Does what it says on the tin. When I bought this I had concerns my wifi signal wouldn’t reach the bell but on installation it reached immediately.My only gripe is ringdoor bell want you to subscribe for £3.49. Don’t waste your money. I’ve paid enough for the bell as it is. It should be free
